About the Role:

As Head of Learning, you’ll lead Baytree’s adult education team—designing and delivering high-quality ESOL, literacy, and personal development programmes that empower women to thrive. Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Leadership:

About The Role

WWT has successfully partnered with Richmond Borough and Slough Councils to deliver an innovative, nature-based flood alleviation scheme that is already underway, aiming to future-proof neighbourhoods against the impacts of climate change. A landscape scale network of wetland interventions will help build flood resilient communities in two river catchments and unlock their multiple benefits for people. Key interventions are being developed through an inclusive process of co-production with the diverse communities living in these catchments.

WWT’s Conservation Evidence Department is seeking a scientist to deliver social research that examines the effectiveness of these nature-based solutions in building flood resilience and generating social and health and wellbeing benefits for local communities.

About You

The role will involve working closely with WWT colleagues across the Conservation Directorate, as well as project partners and local communities. Strong communication (written and oral) and coordination skills are essential.

Richmond Borough Mind is a vibrant local charity that has been supporting and providing services for adults affected by mental health problems and their carers for over 60 years. 

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Adults Peer Support Worker to join our busy Peer Support team. You will have your own lived experience of mental health issues and be able to use this experience as well as your professional skills and knowledge to support others.

RB Mind has run effective peer-led services for many years. The role will be supported by RB Mind Senior Peer Support Workers, and the Peer Support Coordinator in South West London St George’s Mental Health Trust (SWLStG). Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and clinical supervision.

With the expansion of our work in this area we aim to reduce waiting times, reduce the number of people going into crisis, address inequalities and support transitions from youth to adult services. We offer holistic and personalised care and support to service users.

The role has its own caseload and provides a range of support and person-centred interventions to meet these needs, which could include group support, one-to-one interventions and signposting where specialist advice is needed.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about motivating and coaching individuals with mental health issues, and able to support people on their journey to recovery. As well as having an empathy with the core values of RB Mind, the successful applicant will have the skills to provide person-centred support through one-to-one sessions and facilitating groups. • Qualified Chartered Accountant, with at least 10 years post qualification experience (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, ACA) 
• Extensive experience working in a financial leadership role within the Charity and Not for Profit sector
• Experience working with charity trading subsidiaries and dealing with entities singularly and as a group
• Experience of delivering Annual Reports and Accounts process end to end
• Experience implementing new financial systems and processes
• Strong leader with an authentic approach, able to build and empower a team
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial reports at Board level, and support non-finance manager with understanding financial information

As part of our Complex Needs Accommodation Services in Islington you’ll be part of a team dedicated to supporting individuals who face significant challenges and who are ready to take their next steps toward stability and independence.

Working alongside the Regional Services Manager and Team Manager, you'll take on a specialist role focused on clients with complex support needs linked to high-risk offending behaviour (MAPPA Level 2 & 3), mental and physical health issues, and substance use. You’ll build trusted relationships, support clients to reduce their risk of reoffending, and help them access the services they need, from mental health and medical care to pathways out of homelessness. Your work will not only promote social inclusion and greater independence for each individual, but also directly contribute to creating safer, stronger communities.

The working rota for this post is Monday-Friday (no weekend shifts) and a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 1.30pm.)

About you:

• Previous experience of working with offenders and/or people with complex support needs.
• The ability to manage a caseload and deliver positive outcomes utilising your knowledge of the health, social care and criminal justice sector.   
• A flexible, innovative and creative approach to working with a sometimes hard to engage and challenging client group, is also required.

The Role

This is an exciting and varied role that will draw on your experience in areas such as communications, project management, research, event planning and administration.

As an International Policy Assistant at the Law Society, you will play an important role in undertaking research and monitoring international developments affecting solicitors' international practice, with a particular focus on Europe and the Americas. 

Your research insights will provide valuable input into consultation papers and briefings, and you will be coordinating our communication outputs across information bulletins, our website and social media. You will be involved in organising events and other stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Another key aspect of this role will involve the International Policy Assistant liaising extensively with other professional bodies, government departments, solicitors and law firms, as well as working with our Media and Public Affairs teams to ensure a strong and consistent voice for the Law Society and its members.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of delivering high quality administrative support, project management and communication skills along with a strong commitment and enthusiasm for administration and research.

Given the importance of research in this role, you should be able to conduct reliable and relevant research into complex issues with the ability to translate that research clearly and concisely in reports and policy papers.

To be successful in this role, you will require an understanding of legal practice and knowledge of the legal environment and the role of the legal profession in it, along with experience of working in a policy or business development environment.
