ROLE PURPOSE
The Trusts, Foundation and Corporate Partnerships Manager will play a critical role in maximising income for St George’s Hospital Charity through the development and management of relationships with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners. This position requires a can-do, proactive attitude in securing unrestricted and restricted philanthropic support for key projects, particularly our Time For a Change fundraising appeal that aims to raise £5m to transform our children’s wards at St George’s Hospital.
You will be responsible for growing restricted and unrestricted income through the development of strategic, long-term partnerships with Trusts and Foundations and Corporate Partners that provide a sustainable source of income. Working closely with Head of High Value and Director of Fundraising and Communications the postholder will be instrumental in developing a strong and realistic pipeline prospects and securing regular five-six figure gifts. You will maintain £1.2m income/year with ambitions to grow this income to £1.7m/year from Trusts and Foundations and Corporate Partnerships over the next 5 years and by 29/30. The ideal candidate will be proactive and solutions focussed. They will have a proven track record of philanthropy including relationship management, proposal writing, budget development and collaboration with internal teams to communicate impactful fundraising appeal
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising Responsibilities
• Develop a strong and realistic pipeline of Trusts and Foundations and Corporate Partnerships that align with our strategic objectives and fundraising appeals.
• Be proactive and ambitious supporting the growth of our income across Trusts, Foundations and Corporate Partnerships from £1.2m/year to £1.7m/year over 5 years.
• Develop and manage a robust income portfolio, researching prospects, making approaches, building relationships and submitting compelling proposals and application to Trusts and Foundations and Corporates.
• Build project budgets from scratch.
• Create tailored stewardship opportunities for funders which effectively communicate the difference their support has made. To include face-to-face meetings, hospital visits, written reports/digests and attendance at relevant events to strengthen relationships and enhance donor engagement
• Provide regular progress reports to the Head of High Value and Director of Fundraising and Communications, highlighting milestones, KPIs, and potential risks to income generation.
Corporate Partnerships Management
• Contribute to and implement the strategy for securing new corporate partnerships while maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing partners to ensure ongoing support.
• Develop creative and impactful partnership pitches and proposals to attract new corporate sponsors.
• Oversee account management plans for existing corporate partners, programming stewardship events, ensuring that reporting is undertaken, engagement is sustained and opportunities for growth are identified and acted upon.
• Work closely with senior volunteers and stakeholders to develop new business leads and maximise partnership potential.
• Collaborate with the Community & Events Manager to leverage corporate opportunities, turning local engagements into larger partnerships.
Trusts and Foundations Management
• Build and maintain income from Trusts and Foundations using prospecting tools and desk-based research.
• Be proactive in approaches to Trusts and Foundations via phone and/or emails
• Develop creative and compelling approaches and applications that are tailored to charitable objectives of funders.
• Build project budgets and fundraising pipelines in line with funders requirements.
• Maintain and manage a calendar of activity for Trusts and Foundations to ensure we deliver an excellent level of stewardship including six-monthly updates and bespoke visits.
Research and Pipeline Management
• Conduct thorough research to identify and qualify potential funders across trusts, foundations, and corporate sectors, maintaining a dynamic philanthropy pipeline.
• Monitor and manage progress through the pipeline, ensuring that prospects are appropriately cultivated and that targets for each stage of the portfolio are met.
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and data protection laws throughout the prospect research and relationship management processes.
General Duties
• Maintain accurate records of stakeholder communications in our Raiser’s Edge database and activities in line with data protection obligations and best practices.
• Work with Finance to reconcile income.
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to the overall objectives of the fundraising department.
• Working with the Head of High Value ensure our offer to partners is accurately reflected on our SGHC – Role Profile Page 3 of 3 website. This may include updating webpages.
• Supporting fundraising events.
• As and when required, provide front desk coverage, welcoming visitors and donors at the Welcome Office and serving as a friendly and helpful representative of the organisation.
• Engage in continuous professional development and participate in regular performance reviews. This is not an exhaustive list of tasks.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Trusts and Grants officer looking to take on a new challenge. You will play a key role in the fundraising team in supporting the charity achieve its income ambitions to meet the continual need for impartial, free advice in the county of Buckinghamshire. Working closely with the CEO, Fundraising Relationship Manager and management team , you will oversee the development of a strong pipeline across Charitable Trusts and Foundations and Grant Giving Bodies, both locally and nationally. You will work to manage and strengthen relationships with existing funders and lead on securing a range of new opportunities in line with CA Bucks strategic aims.

To support this important work, we are looking for a Programme Funding Manager to secure significant and sustainable funding through matching donor’s purpose and values with Embrace’s programme and partnership strategy.
Recognising the philanthropy landscape is changing, we want to invest in building on the solid foundations that have been laid by the current major giving team with this new Programme Funding Manager (initially for 1 year). The focus of this new role will be to shift our trust and foundation fundraising approach towards developing thematic proposals, specifically funding Embrace’s Christian Partners to provide support for services including but not limited to; refugees, displaced communities fleeing violence, enable women's empowerment, psychosocial support for young people, education services, community development and emergency humanitarian relief. Never has there been a more poignant time to help and support people in this troubled region.
About the role:
The Programme Funding Manager will work closely with Embrace’s Director of Fundraising and Major Gift colleagues to secure £500,000 per annum from Major Donors, Trusts, Foundations and Corporates.
Working collaboratively with Embrace’s Programme and Partnerships colleagues, you will create, develop and agree funding proposals to support our partners with programming developments, around thematic proposals that fund work in multiple countries. This work will encompass, producing compelling, persuasive and professional applications to secure and renew funding. This will result in achieving substantial donations and long-term partnership with donors through excellent stewardship, characterised by clearly articulating to trusts, funder’s philanthropic interests, providing captivating reports to encourage the renewal and cultivation of potential and existing donations. You will develop and maintain an exemplary understanding of the context and challenges of Embrace’s Christian partners, deliver high quality applications to either achieve or exceed targets and ensure donors are professionally thanked and their support acknowledged as appropriate.
About you:
This role requires a proven understanding of successful programme design and ability to innovate our approach to fundraising from charitable trusts, foundations and corporate donors, coupled with pre-emptively writing pitch proposals that marry donor purpose, and an ability to present detailed reports illustrating the impact of Embrace’s work through its Christian partners in the region. Suitable candidates will be motivated and inspired to support Embrace’s Christian partners to transform lives and restore the dignity of the most excluded and marginalised, helping change the lives of marginalised people living with poverty, injustice, disability, trauma and displacement caused by conflict, and other challenges. You will have a sympathy for Embrace’s mission with the Christian faith and be comfortable working in a faith-inspired environment.
Suitable skills and experience include:
- A track record in developing new funding sources, writing applications and reporting on projects raising 5/6-figure sums for multi-year projects
- Ability to identify potential new funding opportunities and have experience of writing detailed reports and delivering pitches on the phone and/or in person
- A highly collaborative approach, a problem solver and lateral thinker
- Willingness to travel to visit Embrace’s programmes in the Middle East (once or twice every 2 years)
- Translating strategy into cases for funding support
- A propositional / front-footed approach, proactively prioritising workload to deliver multiple projects at the same high standard
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills with proven track record in face-to-face pitching to prospects and the ability to present orally and in writing
- Ability to influence, negotiate and persuade others to gain acceptance or agreement of ideas and approaches
- Competent level of computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and CRM system
- Self-motivated, be able to work from home and be able to travel to London and other areas as required

Events and Marketing Coordinator

Essential Knowledge and experience:
· Proven experience of planning and event managing in-person and online events of varying scales to a wide range of audiences
· An understanding of a range of marketing channels, including print media, digital media, social media platforms, and face to face engagement
· Proven experience of successfully delivering marketing projects while working collaboratively within a team environment
· Proven experience of using a Content Management System (CMS, e.g., WordPress), a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM, e.g., Bitrix) and social media scheduler (e.g., Zoho)

The Kent MS Therapy Centre is seeking an experienced Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to join our vibrant and successful Fundraising Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating income from trusts and foundations at KMSTC. You will take over the current trusts and foundations caseload, including repeat applications, report writing and maintaining relationships. You will identify and actively pursue new grants available as well as develop and maintain relationships with major funders. Your work will ensure that that we can provide excellent therapies and support to people living with MS and other neurological conditions at our purpose- built therapy Centre.
Alongside raising funds, you will be part of the team responsible for growing our Monitoring and Evaluation framework which helps to develop, monitor and assess the impact of the Centre’s services. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating trust and foundation records on Beacon, our fundraising database.
You will be expected to develop ideas and opportunities, as well as growing relationships with prospective, past and current supporting organisations. You will be instrumental in engaging and growing our supporter base to ensure that our charity is more sustainable and in a strong position to continue our vital role to those living with neurological conditions.
You will regularly present reports to the Management Team regarding your portfolio of active trusts and foundations as well as prospects.

KEY PRIORITIES:

Role overview

· With an emphasis on High Value Fundraising, develop and implement a multi-channel fundraising strategy to grow and develop The Nightingale’s income stream including major donors, trusts and foundations, individual giving, events and corporate fundraising.
· Provide leadership and supervision to the fundraising team, setting income targets and delivering strategic support.
· Build sustainable, long-term relationships that align with The Nightingale’s fundraising priorities and the creation of clearly defined, measurable targets and KPIs.
· Develop fundraising tools and materials, creating bespoke, high-quality materials that resonate with major donors and support broader fundraising activities such as printed materials, e-marketing, and web-based materials.
