Job description

Job location: Nationwide, any regional office

To build a fair education for all, we need to unlock the potential in all children – not just some. Together, we’re making it happen. Every day, our work takes us closer to a better future. But we need to do more. It’s a big challenge – and we need your help to take it on.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for Trusts & Foundations within the Trust and Foundations and Philanthropy team to deliver ambitious annual income targets through outstanding relationships, donor stewardship and prospect development. You will have a deep understanding of Trusts & Foundations and have a passion for the Teach First mission.

You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our high value trust and foundations to support our mission. You’ll bring expertise in developing winning propositions, managing strategic partnerships, excellent stewardship practices, high level engagement with internal stakeholders and growing existing partnerships into long term relationships.

Please note this role is being offered on an FTC basis to cover a period of maternity leave.

  • Do you have a proven track record in winning, developing and stewarding Trusts and Foundations in a fundraising team, with a track record of retaining high-value, multi-year partnerships and delivering year-on-year income growth?
  • Do you have a deep understanding of trusts and foundations trends and are able to align fundraising strategy with organisational priorities?
  • Are you skilled in research and analysis to identify and qualify funding prospects?
  • Are you proficient in CRM systems such as Salesforce for relationship and pipeline management, with the ability to interpret pipeline data and deliver strategic income forecasts?
  • Are you an outstanding written and verbal communicator, with experience crafting persuasive proposals?
  • Do you have excellent project management skills, and are you able to work effectively across teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of partnership commitments

Yes to the above? Then we want to hear from you. You might be our next Trusts & Foundations Manager!
