Your Role

As Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving income growth and building long-term relationships with corporates, major donors, trusts, and foundations. Your Responsibilities

Lead and Inspire

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategy to grow income from corporates, trusts, foundations, statutory bodies, and major donors.
• Corporate Partnerships: Focus on acquiring new corporate partners to build a strong pipeline and increase income.
• Support Other Fundraising Leads: Assist Trusts and Philanthropy leads in building relationships with funders using research and insight.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and steward partnerships to exceed expectations.
• Collaboration: Work with senior leaders, trustees, and stakeholders to identify and develop strategic fundraising opportunities.
• Networking: Engage with the CEO and trustees to leverage their networks for partnership growth.
• Team Contribution: Actively participate in leadership and departmental management to support the overall fundraising strategy.
• Event Support: Help plan and deliver impactful stewardship and special events.

Manage and Nurture

• Team Management: Line manage key fundraising staff, ensuring they have the support and resources needed.
• Performance Tools: Develop KPIs and pipeline tools for effective budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track performance indicators, identify risks, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Culture Building: Promote creativity, innovation, and high performance within the fundraising team.

You will lead on researching new opportunities, crafting compelling applications, and stewarding relationships with grantmakers. RESPONSIBILITIES

Grant Prospecting & Pipeline Development

• Research and maintain a pipeline of trusts and foundations aligned with OSH’s mission and growth priorities.

• Work closely with OSH leadership to align fundraising priorities with programme plans and organisational growth.

• Maintain up-to-date records on potential and active funders in OSH’s CRM.
   

Bid Writing & Submission

• Write and submit high-quality, tailored applications that articulate OSH’s impact, values and plans.

• Ensure applications are accurate, persuasive, and meet deadlines and funder requirements.

• Collaborate with the team to gather supporting information, budgets, and case studies.
   

Reporting & Stewardship

• Prepare timely and engaging reports for successful grants, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and strong stewardship.

• Maintain excellent records and monitor deadlines for reporting and renewals.
   

Cross-Organisational Contribution

• Coordinate annual impact reporting, including data analysis, case studies, and visual storytelling.

• Build strong internal relationships and stay connected to OSH’s work by attending occasional programmes, events and residentials.

• Contribute ideas and support the fundraising team’s broader work (e.g. campaigns, supporter communications).

• Engage with programme staff to gather stories and data that demonstrate OSH’s impact.

The Role
This role is focused on managing and growing our work with other third sector organisations. Key Responsibilities

Oversight of the Spear Programme

• As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work
• Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach
• Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education

Partnership liaison and relationship management

• Establish the primary local referral agencies and steward relationships with these, overseeing and building a strategy to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective
• Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network

Line Management and training

• Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development
• Be line managed by Resurgo on Spear Programme performance and ongoing operations of the centre, and report back on KPIs

Church Community

• The Spear Centre Manager is directly employed by Alive Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
• You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members and help the Spear Coach to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme
• Ensure the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church; this may involve attending church events and speaking at services

Site management 

• Work with the Church to coordinate the training room and any infrastructure needs for the Spear Centre
• Liaise with relevant staff locally on-site issues and work to resolve them as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

Purpose Of Role

This is a newly created collaborative and integral role within the Joint Finance Team across the Dioceses of Winchester and Portsmouth. The Dioceses of Winchester and Portsmouth (DBF) act as the custodian trustee for our parishes (PCC) across both dioceses and manage funds in excess of £30m across c.620 funds.

This role will be responsible for seeking ways to identify the purposes of these funds and creating a bespoke database to assist with the day-to-day oversight.  Reporting to the Heads of Finance, the role will support the Finance Officer and Finance Assistant with the delivery of treasury functions to our parishes, through enabling prompt identification of the relevant information to enable investment transactions to take place. 

Job Summary

· Create a master list of the funds and related account details with the relevant investors. 

· Review the electronic and paper archive information for details of restrictions around funds and confirm the accuracy and completeness of the information.

· Identify funds where restrictions may no longer be relevant and provide guidance on how these may be wound up.

· Identify small / low value balances where Charity Commission rules may allow alternative action to be taken with the fund.

· Identify endowments where permission could be sought to spend the capital, if income flows are insufficient for requirements. 

· Identify any small trusts with similar purposes where there may be opportunity to combine trusts to alleviate some of the administrative burden. 

· Produce an action plan based on the findings of the above and work with the Heads of Finance to implement the plan. 

· Review the PCC annual accounts for accurate reporting of their funds, based on the details of restrictions around the funds. 

·  To provide other assistance as may occasionally be required by senior members of the Joint Finance Team.  

Key role requirements

This is an office-based 12-month fixed-term part-time role of 21 hours per week, with the expectation to work from the office 2 days per week.

You will need to be/have:

· An understanding of charity finance, different fund types and Charity Commission guidance in relation to these is essential. 

· A background in finance or bookkeeping is desirable. 

· An ability to understand and interpret legal or trust documentation is desirable. 

· Experience of Xledger accounting systems would be advantageous but not essential; experience of working with Microsoft Suite applications and financial accounting systems is essential.  

· Knowledge and experience of working in a large and complex organisation is desirable

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated fundraiser to join our successful team as we embark on a major capital campaign (NHM150) to raise £150m to transform our South Kensington site ahead of our 150th anniversary. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this role will be responsible for personally securing high six- and seven-figure gift from Trusts and Foundations.

The Senior Philanthropy Manager will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and the rest of the Philanthropy team, feeding into the overall strategy for the team. They will manage a portfolio of funder accounts which deliver long-term, high-value strategic partnerships as well as building new relationships.

The post will also manage a team of 3 – 2x Philanthropy Manager and 1 Philanthropy Executive.

The Philanthropy team has seen significant investment and there will be substantial opportunities for professional development within a world-leading cultural organisation.

About you

The role requires excellent fundraising skills, with experience in raising and managing high six- and seven-figure gifts. Candidates will need excellent communication and written experience to develop high quality applications, proposals and reports - ensuring the highest standard of cultivation and stewardship. Additionally, candidates will ensure they can work within the direct team, wider Development team and full organisation, while managing their own team to successfully achieve targets.

About the role

Join ClientEarth as our next Grants Manager and play a vital role in securing the resources that power our mission to protect people and planet. In this role you will lead on renewing and managing income from major trusts, foundations, and institutional funders, while building strong relationships with some of our largest and most strategic partners. The role also offers the chance to help shape and deliver our fundraising strategy across Europe, the US, and Asia.

Meet your Manager

You will be managed by Jamil De Dominicis. Jamil joined ClientEarth in 2019 and is based in London. As Global Head of Grants, he leads the Grants Management team and oversees ClientEarth’s grants income from trusts, foundations and other statutory and institutional funders. Prior to joining ClientEarth, Jamil worked in various policy, research and grant management roles at the international affairs think tank Chatham House and the National Foundation for Youth Music.

Main Duties

• Manage a portfolio of grants from key Trusts, Foundations and statutory funders. Ensure that funders are aware of project performance, and that ClientEarth’s implementation is always in compliance with grant agreements. 
• Develop and produce well researched and comprehensive proposals and reports to existing donors that meet funding priorities and requirements, within the submission deadline and oversee the coordination of Programme, Development and Finance teams as required for effective grant management. 
• Work closely with the Global Head of Grants, Grants Management Lead and wider Development Leadership on budget forecasts and donor pipeline to ensure effective, joined-up cultivation of prospects and income generation. 
• Oversee, review and, as appropriate, sign–off on the work of line managed staff (including reports, proposal, and other written material for internal and external purposes). 
• Support the Global Head of Grants to develop and implement the team’s annual planning and wider fundraising strategy.

Role requirements

• Significant and demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising, grant management or a project management role for a charity, NGO, private or public entity (essential)
• Significant experience of drafting complex proposals for trusts, foundations and statutory institutions and securing multi-year, six and seven-figure grants (essential)
• Experience of successfully managing donor relationships, from cultivation to stewardship encompassing both personal engagement with funders and/or coordinating the input of colleagues from across the organisation (essential)
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with ability to foster positive working relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including and especially with funders (essential)

We are looking for a new Associate Director of Development – someone who will lead a new, relationship-based approach to fundraising and help us reach new heights in our income generation activities.

We aim to raise £800,000 from Major Gifts, Trusts and Foundations and Regular and Mid-Value Giving this year and are ambitious about growing this in the future.

The opportunity.....

You will play a pivotal role in growing income across the Hospice and leading new, relationship-based approaches to fundraising.

With responsibility for Major Donors, Trusts and Foundations, and Regular and Mid-Value Giving you will create and lead a new strategy to develop these areas and manage and grow a portfolio of high-value relationships.

You will also work hand in hand with Hospice colleagues to identify and curate exciting fundraising propositions, helping to raise strategic funds for our services.

As a leader in the fundraising team, you will provide coaching and management to your team and deputise for the Director Fundraising.

You will be central in forming close working relationships across the Hospice and with the Board of Trustees, enabling a whole hospice approach to fundraising.

The must haves:

• Fundraising Success: At least six years’ experience operating in a Major Gifts or Trusts and Foundations role and a track record of personally securing and stewarding five and six figure gifts
• Strategic thinker: Experience of researching, developing and implementing new strategies, and associated budgets and KPIs, and of developing portfolios, and prospect management tools
• Leading and inspiring: At least four years’ experience of inspiring, managing and developing 1+ line reports
• Proposition development: Creative in outlook and with experience of developing donor-centric fundraising propositions

The it would be great to haves:

• Regular Giving: Experience of developing and managing Regular Giving and mid-value programmes
• Team Management: Experience of managing, motivating and supporting a team
• CRM knowledge: Knowledge of DonorFly
• Fundraising qualification: A relevant fundraising qualification from CIOF or other

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic relationship fundraiser to lead a step-change in major donor giving at the Trust. 

This role is for you if you are a self-motivated and driven to ensure that targets are hit and projects are delivered to the highest possible standards. 

You will have demonstrable experience of securing and managing 5-figure+ gifts from donors and be a sophisticated communicator with a collaborative approach and the confidence to build relationships with and inspire colleagues, Trustees and donors.
