Established in 1950 through the endowment of its founder, Angus Acworth, The Leche Trust is an independent funder dedicated to supporting charities in the performing arts and heritage conservation sectors across the UK. With an annual distribution of approx. £240,000 in small grants, the Trust plays a vital role in nurturing cultural heritage and artistic endeavours. As part of its ongoing commitment to excellence, the Trust is transitioning to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2024.

As the sole employee of The Leche Trust, the Grants Director will spearhead the Trust's operations and day to day management, providing invaluable support to the Trustees while managing relationships with external stakeholders and funding networks. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in administering grants, overseeing governance and secretarial duties, managing financial administration, and facilitating effective communication both internally and externally.

Example of responsibilities:

• Manage the grant programme and smaller funds for conservation bursaries and research projects.
• Review and process grant applications, compile final grant recommendations for board review and notify applicants of decisions.
• Oversee grant contracts, payments and ongoing communications with grantees.
• Conduct light touch monitoring of funded projects and share insights with trustees to inform future strategy.
• Prepare meeting agenda and papers in consultation with the Chair of Trustees.
• Record accurate minutes of meetings and manage administrative tasks related to governance.
• Develop annual budgets, monitor expenditure, liase with auditors and investment managers to facilitate financial reporting and management.
• Respond to all enquires as required.
• Maintain the Trusts' online presence, ensuring website is kept up to date.
• Collaborate with other grant-making charities on ad hoc projects.

The Grants Director requires an ability to work independently, self-direct and prioritise.

We're looking for someone who's experienced in grant making process and systems, who also has knowledge of good practice in charity administration and governance. They will require excellent communication skills and have some experience working directly with a board of trustees. We're also looking for someone who has a good understanding of either the UK performing arts sector or the UK heritage conservation sector.

New Horizon provides a range of Youth Work opportunities for young people experiencing homelessness. One stream of work is our Jobs, Education and Training (JET) team. The JET team support with young people to support them into meaningful and appropriate employment, training opportunities, apprenticeships, volunteering, and education.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of managing high level relationships and a track record of securing high value (5 and 6 figure) donations or new business. Working Arrangements and Travel Requirements

Rainforest Trust UK staff work remotely and you will be expected to work primarily from home with an excellent internet connection. You may be based anywhere in the UK but you will be expected to work from a shared team space in London once a month, and your donor meetings/events are most likely to take place there.

The postholder will be required to host networking events and attend some online meetings with our partners in the U.S so some (early) evening working is required. We are also flexible as to how many hours this postholder works, and will consider a 3-5 day per week arrangement, depending on experience.

This is an exciting new role that provides an opportunity to build a new major gifts programme from scratch. About the role of Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is a core member of WCC's management team and is a key advisor and partner to the CEO on all areas of finance.  The post-holder will have responsibility for timely and efficient management of the day-to-day accounting function and all internal and external financial reporting.  Reporting directly to the CEO this role is part of a friendly, highly productive and collaborative, dedicated clinical and operational staff team of ten.

• Be a Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, ICAEW etc).
• Have 5+ years PQE, preferably with charity sector/ fund accounting experience.
• Able to demonstrate working independently and as finance lead.

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising strategy. You will work closely with our CEO and Fundraising Officer to raise funds from a range of sources to support our work with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. You will also ensure that LRMN has positive relationships with funders and line manager the Fundraising Officer.

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, we are recruiting a brand new Partnerships Manager role to lead on opening up bedspaces, pathways and partnerships to improve outcomes for this client group. This role presents an exciting opportunity to create real sustainable change. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in partnership and stakeholder engagement who knows how to get and keep people on board to meet mutual or differing needs. The ideal candidate will be a confident, natural networker. You need to be persuasive but able to understand the perspectives and challenges that exist in this space. Key to achieving our vision is the passion. You must be genuinely passionate about supporting young people who are impacted by violence, exploitation and the criminal justice system and ideally, have previous frontline experience within relevant services.
