We are looking for a Senior Fundraising Lead to drive our growth by securing high-value partnerships. This new role is for a results-oriented fundraiser who can manage a sales pipeline and move prospects from “cold” to “secured” with speed and precision. As a Senior Lead, you will take the initiative to propose new approaches that align with our strategic goals and build long-term global partnerships with some of the most renowned companies, trusts and philanthropists. You will sit within a small fundraising team alongside a Director of Fundraising and Head of Fundraising and Partnerships.

Hours: Full time with flexible hours. Core hours are 10am to 4pm
Location: Hybrid. London (Embankment) two days per week and remote working
Salary: £43,444 p.a.

The NCTJ is the guardian of the gold standard in journalism training. Through charitable initiatives including the Community Reporting Fund and Journalism Diversity Fund, we widen access to journalism careers, strengthen community reporting, and champion trusted journalism at a time when misinformation and public scepticism make high professional standards more important than ever.

Diversifying and growing charitable income is a strategic priority for NCTJ. Following the development of our fundraising strategy, this role will focus on building and growing income from UK trusts, foundations and high net worth supporters. You will have the autonomy to shape the grants and major donor pipeline.

Corporate partnerships are led primarily by our Head of Business Development. This role focuses on grants, major donors and stewardship.

You will:

• Research and manage a strong pipeline of trusts and foundation prospects
• Write and submit high-quality, tailored grant applications and expressions of interest
• Develop compelling cases for support, budgets, outcomes and proposal templates
• Build and manage major donor/high net worth pipeline through warm networks
• Lead on donor cultivation and follow-up
• Strengthen stewardship and reporting so funders feel valued and close to the impact
• Use HubSpot CRM to track pipeline, deadlines, reporting and performance

About you

You will have:

• A strong track record in trusts and foundations fundraising
• Experience securing substantial grants (five-figure and above)
• Excellent proposal and case for support writing skills
• Experience working with major donors/high net worth supporters (or strong transferable relationship-led fundraising experience)
• Strong organisation and CRM discipline
• Confidence working with senior leaders

Experience in journalism, media, education, social mobility or EDI is welcome but not essential. It is vital that you support the critical role professional journalists play in our democracy.

The National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) is the charity at the heart of journalism education and training in the UK. Purpose of the role

This is a specialist role focused on securing and stewarding funding from trusts and foundations and developing a pipeline of major donors and high net worth supporters, underpinned by exceptional proposal writing and strong relationship management.

Corporate partnerships are led primarily by the head of business development. This role will support corporate fundraising through proposal/case development and stewardship where needed, but the primary focus is securing charitable grants and major donors.

Key responsibilities

1) Trusts and foundations fundraising

• Build and manage a strong pipeline of UK trust and foundation prospects that advance NCTJ’s charitable priorities (including diversity, community reporting, and training for a fast-changing media industry).
• Develop and maintain a grants calendar and tracking system, including deadlines, funder preferences, decision timelines, and reporting requirements.
• Write and submit high-quality, tailored grant applications and expressions of interest, working to agreed targets and timescales.
• Develop a suite of core fundraising materials (case for support, programme proposals, budgets, outcomes and evaluation narrative, boilerplate and templates) to increase quality and consistency across submissions.
• Confidently communicate the NCTJ’s purpose and impact through presentations, reports, and digital content and represent the NCTJ at meetings and events, both virtually and in person.
• Build and maintain strong funder relationships, ensuring excellent stewardship, timely reporting and opportunities for renewal and uplift.

2) Major donor / high net worth giving

• Work with the senior team to identify major donor prospects through networks and sector connections.
• Undertake proportionate prospect research and build a high-quality cultivation pipeline.
• Create tailored donor proposals and impact statements that support donor interests while advancing NCTJ priorities.
• Support cultivation meetings with briefs, materials, follow-up and stewardship plans, tracking all activity in CRM.

3) Impact, storytelling and stewardship

• Work closely with programme and communications colleagues to gather impact data, case studies and beneficiary stories to strengthen proposals and reporting.
• Develop and deliver a clear plan for thanking trusts and major donors, keeping them updated on impact, and staying in regular contact.
• Use NCTJ events and industry milestones as stewardship and cultivation opportunities, coordinating targeted follow-up and relationship management.

4) Systems, reporting and evaluation

• Maintain excellent data quality and discipline in HubSpot CRM, including prospect stage, relationship owner, next actions, submissions, reporting deadlines and contact history.
• Produce clear pipeline and performance reports for the HoBD/chief executive (eg, submissions, conversion rates, forecast, learning and next steps).
• Contribute to quarterly review sessions to evaluate progress and refine approach.

5) Collaborative working

• Build strong working relationships across the charity and its stakeholders to translate NCTJ’s work into fundable propositions and well managed projects ensuring effective delivery of programmes through cross functional collaboration.
• Bring innovative and creative concepts to the team, and develop valuable programmes and initiatives which add to the NCTJ’s new income stream.
• Contribute to shared messaging that reflects NCTJ’s mission: high standards, quality, trusted journalism, accessibility and measurable EDI impact.

Women in Prison (WiP)is a national, women-led, feminist organisation.  We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as women resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.   

We are looking for a professional to join WiP’s new fundraising team which secures funding from a range of sources including individual donors, corporate supporters, and charitable trusts and foundations. This role will contribute to the foundations for Women in Prison’s ambitious fundraising plans leading on securing gifts from trusts and grants and ensuring that all secured grants are well managed and effectively reported on.  You will be responsible for identifying new funding opportunities and ensuring these are assessed and responded to in collaboration with staff across the organisation. This is a new addition to the team and you will be working alongside the current part time Trusts and Foundations Manager, Senior Fundraising Executive and Fundraising Assistant.

The Role

As Interim Head of Business Development, you will provide strategic leadership and hands-on delivery to stabilise and strengthen the Trust’s business development approach. You will lead the end-to-end opportunity pipeline - from market intelligence and commissioner engagement through to bid development, governance and mobilisation handover - ensuring opportunities are aligned to strategy, deliver strong outcomes, and are financially viable.

Responsibilities include but are not exhaustive

• Provide visible interim leadership for the Trust’s business development function, setting clear priorities and ways of working, and coordinating contribution from service, operational, clinical and corporate colleagues.
• Develop and maintain a Trust-wide opportunity pipeline (tenders, frameworks, spot-purchase growth, strategic partnerships and other commissioned income routes), including qualification, prioritisation, and clear next steps.
• Lead proactive engagement with commissioners, local authorities, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS partners and other stakeholders to understand demand, shape specifications where appropriate, and position the Trust effectively.
• Own the end-to-end bid process: establish bid plans, coordinate contributors, draft and quality-assure responses, and ensure submissions are compliant, persuasive, and submitted on time.
• Work with Finance and service leads to ensure all bids and proposals are underpinned by robust costing, pricing, risk assessment and contract terms review; ensure financial viability and appropriate approvals before submission.
• Create and embed a practical bid governance approach (stage-gates, templates, timelines and sign-off), so that bidding is consistent, efficient and auditable.
• Champion the Together Trust’s vision, mission and values, and role model the Trust’s behaviours.
• Commit to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in how opportunities are developed and how the Trust works with partners.
• Maintain a visible presence across Trust services and corporate teams, balancing hybrid working with on-site engagement as needed.

About You

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent senior leadership experience).
• Evidence of continuing professional development in leadership, commissioning, commercial practice or service transformation
• Significant senior experience in commissioning, business development, service development or strategic partnership working within a public service environment (e.g. local authority, NHS, education, social care, VCFSE).
• Proven track record of developing successful proposals, business cases, tenders or commissioning documentation - including coordinating multiple contributors to deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging credibly with senior commissioners and partners.
  • Good understanding of public sector commissioning and procurement routes, including tendering, frameworks and contract governance.
  • Understanding of the importance of safeguarding, quality and regulatory expectations when developing and mobilising services for children, young people and adults.
• Ability to analyse complex problems, identify options and recommend proportionate solutions.
• Full UK driving license with ability to travel across Together Trust locations and to partner/commissioner meetings as required.

TreeAction UK CIC is seeking an organised, driven and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising activity across corporate partnerships, trusts and grants, and community fundraising.

This exciting role is funded by the National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund and offers the opportunity to shape and grow our fundraising programme at a key stage in our development.

About the role

Working closely with the CEO and Project Lead, you will:

• Secure corporate sponsorship for tree maintenance events and team tree planting days
• Manage a structured programme of trust and grant applications
• Help launch TreeAction’s first community fundraising initiatives
• Build relationships, generate income and champion our environmental mission
• Coordinate fundraising volunteers as the programme grows

We’re looking for someone who can comfortably wear a sales hat when engaging with corporates, while also producing high-quality written funding applications.

About you

You’ll bring:

• Experience of fundraising in a not-for-profit setting
• Strong skills in corporate fundraising and trust/grant fundraising
• A proactive, organised approach and confidence working independently
• A genuine passion for trees, nature and environmental education

Partnerships Officer

Salary: £40,663.00 per annum + benefits which include generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, life assurance, private health care, cycle to work scheme. We also have on-site parking.

Hours: Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week. The role is based in Cambridge, offering hybrid working. We are a family-friendly employer and take a flexible approach around personal commitments when agreeing work patterns.

About the Partnerships Team

The IWF is a leading child safety organisation handling one of the toughest and most sensitive online harms – child sexual abuse – and the Partnerships Team acts as a bridge between that work and the wider world, connecting mission, funding and momentum. This role is crucial, as it helps support the welfare of the IWF’s front-line expert analysts and provides the means for the IWF to grow and innovate in its efforts to tackle child sexual abuse imagery online.

The Partnerships Team is driven by strategic focus, collaborative skill and mission-driven purpose, and helps the IWF to attract the support it needs to detect, disrupt, remove and prevent the spread of online child sexual abuse material.

Within that broader mission, the Partnerships Team plays a strategic and outward-facing role: it’s responsible for building relationships, collaborations and income streams that strengthen the IWF’s work.

Who we need

As we embark on our new three-year strategy, we are looking for an innovative and talented fundraiser with at least three years of fundraising experience to join the team alongside a Partnership Manager and Business Development Consultant to help us to generate new creative partnerships and opportunities.

As a small, growing team with ambitious fundraising targets and a global reach, we have the potential to expand several income streams, particularly trusts/foundations, government agencies, creative partnerships with corporations and wealth collaboratives.

Given the current challenging economic and philanthropic environment, we are looking for someone to generate new funding opportunities through creative out-of-the-box thinking which will identify and solidify relationships with philanthropists, corporations, global foundations and beyond.

The leading candidate will be able to conceptualise and deliver high quality proposals, projects and evaluation reports, and use their experience and knowledge to develop new ways of securing and nurturing large scale funds and partnerships. They will be able to drive change and create successful outcomes.

Existing funders include a mix of leading grantees/foundations, corporate partners/members, and government. There is significant potential for the development of high value individual partnerships within sectors such as technology/cybersecurity, telecoms and financial.

We are a collaborative and dynamic team and are looking for a colleague with valuable experience, an innovative and creative personality and the ability to build meaningful and profitable relationships with our partners and supporters to enable us to reach our ambitious fundraising plans.

This role will play a big part in helping the organisation to deliver more than £2.5million in funding by the end of 2027.

The Fundraising Officer will initially focus on Trusts and Foundations fundraising, with a scope to expand responsibilities to support additional income streams over time. There will be lots of on-the-job and training opportunities for you to learn and develop professionally.

• Research, identify, and develop new funding opportunities
• Prepare high‑quality proposals, applications, and reports

AHF is seeking an England Development Manager (Heritage Revival Fund) to co‑lead our core grants and advisory programme across England. This role has been created following the recent announcement of significant new investment, which will support the expansion of the Heritage Revival Fund through to 2030. This investment will enable AHF, in partnership with DCMS and Historic England, to provide grants to hundreds of communities across England, helping them bring neglected historic buildings back into use.

Ideally based in southern or central England with focus on southern half of the country. The postholder will work jointly with the current England Development Manager (HRF), who will focus on the northern half of England. Together, they will oversee activity and workflow across the whole country. The role also includes joint management of the England grants team (who work remotely) and programme budget, working flexibly and collaboratively to ensure the successful delivery of AHF’s core programme.

We are looking for a candidate with strong experience across the key responsibilities of the role, including team management, programme budget oversight, and reporting. Ideally, they will bring a proven track record of leadership within the heritage or charitable sector. Candidates must have strong numerical and financial skills, excellent attention to detail, confidence using common IT and Office systems, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

We're seeking a dynamic, hands-on Event Manager to take the reins of our venue hire programme. You'll be the go-to person for everyone who books with us, from first enquiry through to flawless delivery, making sure every event reflects our values and leaves clients delighted. 

What You'll Be Doing 

• Client Relations: Be the welcoming first point of contact, guiding clients from initial enquiry through to event day 

• Venue Showcasing: Show prospective hirers around our spaces and help them envision their event 

• Event Coordination: Manage all the moving parts (logistics, suppliers, internal teams) to ensure seamless delivery 

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train and manage a flexible pool of casual event staff 

• On-the-Ground Management: Act as on-site duty manager during events. 

• Community Building: Foster strong relationships with local residents, partners and clients 

• Systems & Records: Keep booking records using CRM and booking systems 

• Marketing Support: Help promote our venues and attract brilliant bookings 

• Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to make our operations even better
