The Role: Trusts and Foundations Manager

• Location: London-based, with hybrid working options.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As the Trusts and Foundations Executive, you will be responsible for delivering income from a range of donors and prospects, with a focus on trusts and foundations, through growing a successful grants pipeline and inspiring funders to support the Helen Bamber Foundation. 3. Working with colleagues across the organisation to help shape projects for funding and creating strong Cases for Support to ensure effective applications.
4. Writing and submitting high quality targeted funding applications.

This role will be responsible for researching and applying to small Trusts and managing an existing portfolio (up to 10K) alongside supporting larger grant applications where required. Furthermore you will support the migration of our CRM from Raisers Edge to Microsoft Dynamics.

The person

You will have Trust fundraising experience with excellent research and writing skills with ability to identify new Trusts to apply to, prepare accurate and compelling donor reports and case studies and be confident in approaching donors and promoting the work of Whizz-Kidz.  You will have strong donor stewardship skills with ability to tailor approaches to the needs of the donor. You will also have strong time management skills with ability to manage and prioritise your workload and ideally experience of using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.

As the Trust and Grants Manager, you will be responsible for generating income from trusts and grants. Based within the Development Team you will look to identify funding opportunities to secure funds to ensure the Hospice successfully achieves its objectives and development plan. This permanent role pays a salary of £27,000 to £32,000 per annum. This is primarily a homebased role and Changing Faces are happy to consider full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) candidates. 

As the Trusts Officer, you will act as the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of trusts and foundations, primarily up to £50,000. You will support the Head of Fundraising with larger multi-year bids and applications and proactively identify funding opportunities and to further build a robust trusts pipeline.

They are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering income from Trusts and Foundations. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skill along with demonstrable experience of producing high quality funding reports for Trusts and Foundations.

The Role
