Role Overview: In this new role as Fundraising Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of our fundraising strategy and manage our fundraising portfolio. This includes being responsible for securing the financial resources needed to bring positive, impactful change to every young person we work with. You will manage and grow our portfolio of grant funders, retain and deepen key relationships, and shape the next phase of our fundraising strategy.
 
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead Streets of Growth's 5-year Fundraising Strategy, this will include building a new programme for developing corporate partnerships
• Grow multi-year restricted and flexible income from existing and new donors
• In collaboration with the CEO, to set fundraising targets and forecast fundraising income
• Research and develop opportunities to diversify income streams, identify new supporters, manage the creation and submission of bids
• Develop and grow strong relationships with key funders and stakeholders
• Responsible for reporting on funding bids both internally and externally and managing the timeline of submission of bids and applications
• Represent Streets of Growth at external events, funder briefings or networking opportunities
• As a member of the Leadership Team, contribute to the strategic planning processes for the charity
 
Person Specification: The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Experience of leading or significantly contributing to development and/or delivery of a fundraising strategy
• Strong track record of fundraising, grant management and achieving funding awards for £50,000 and above
• Strong understanding of charity fundraising regulations, GDPR, and ethical fundraising practices
• Excellent writing skills with ability to produce clear, concise and engaging applications and funding reports

About you

We are looking for a proactive and visible finance professional who is able to engage and build relationships across the organisation as a pivotal member within a values led high performing organisation. About the role

The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

Open Door is a young people’s mental health charity that has been based in Haringey, North London for 49 years. It aims to improve mental health and life-chances of young people. We provide an ‘Open Door’ to free, high quality psychological therapy to 12–24-year-olds delivered by experienced and highly trained clinicians. We also support parents and carers, struggling with the issues their children face. We aim for access to be simple and over half of those we support, self-refer. Open Door delivers evidence informed practice and has been commended for our ambitious approach to outcome driven care.

System Design & Implementation

• Develop a comprehensive measurement system aligned with Young H & F's strategic themes and SMART targets (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound goals)
• Create user-friendly data collection tools and templates for member organisations
• Establish baseline engagement metrics for all 100+ members and implement regular Net Promoter Score tracking
• Design and launch a pilot impact measurement programme across five member organisations

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Lead creation of quarterly insight reports and annual impact reports for stakeholders
• Develop compelling data visualisations and reporting formats for diverse audiences (trustees, funders, members, young people)
• Interpret data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to inform operational decisions

• Support team reporting to partners and funders

Member Engagement & Capacity Building

• Champion the value of impact measurement among member organisations
• Develop practical guidance materials and "low investment, high impact" data collection approaches that respect members' time constraints
• Support integration of outcome measurement into daily activities and member visits
• Design flexible delivery options for training and support (in-person and virtual)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Lead to manage and collaborate with an external development/implementation partner and coordinate the smooth adoption of Salesforce within the Charity.  This critical role will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from planning and requirements gathering to execution, testing, training, and post-implementation support. You will be the central point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project.

 Main Responsibilities

• Work with the Director or Finance & Operations (DFO)  to invite tenders for and engage a development / implementation partner to support the adoption of this phase of Salesforce implementation
• Work with the development/implementation partner to develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Manage the execution of these plans, tracking progress, and ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with the implementation partner to gather and document business requirements from relevant team members to translate these into technical specifications.
• Lead and motivate key stakeholders including the implementation partner and end-users. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure effective communication between team members.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their buy-in throughout the project.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and ensure project success.
• Define and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivered Salesforce solution meets business requirements and is free of defects. Oversee testing activities and ensure proper documentation of test results.
• Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth user adoption of the new Salesforce solution. Provide training and support to end-users.
• Manage project budgets effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirements documents, technical specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Providing updates against outcomes / budget to the Director of Development (Grants/Major Gifts) to enable rigorous, timely feedback to the project funder.

 Person specification 

• Proven experience (three years minimum) of leading digital transformation projects, with a strong focus on Salesforce implementations and customisations and a strong record of success.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Excellent project management skills, including budget and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  
• Ability to manage, coordinate and get buy-in from technically inexperienced team members.
• Experience with data migration and integration is a plus.
• An understanding of safeguarding data, confidentiality, safe working practices and GDPR compliance.
• Knowledge of appropriate project management frameworks (agile, waterfall) to set project scope, meeting key milestones and budget constraints
• An understanding of equal opportunities issues and a commitment to diversity.

Terms & Conditions

• This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), fixed term contract for one year, with a review to extend at the end of that term.
• This role is based in London.
• Salary: £45,000 per annum pro rata (0.6 FTE).
• Holiday: 25 days (including 3 faith days*) + 8 Public Holidays pro rata.
• A beautiful office based in the City of London. Hybrid working is available following induction period.
• 21-hour week: standard office hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch. Work outside these hours is required on occasions.

• Strong background in designing or contributing to effective income generation strategies.
• Experience in leveraging social value commitments—especially through government procurement and Section 106 obligations—is highly desirable.
• Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, network, and engage diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system or related fields is a strong advantage.
