We have a new role at the charity of Trusts and Foundations Assistant. This represents an excellent opportunity to help us grow our portfolio of funders within this income stream

The main purpose of the role of Trusts and Foundations Assistant is to coordinate and implement Teenage Cancer Trust’s Small Grant Programme, which currently raises £44,000 a year.

You will also provide administrative support for the Trusts and Foundations Team.

To apply you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of fundraising methods, and some understanding and a willingness to increase knowledge of the Trusts, Foundations, and Statutory funding marketplace.
  • Confident in communicating with funders and internal staff, in writing, in person and on the phone.
  • Experience of developing administrative systems and processes.
  • Ability to organise own workload to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Very good IT skills including the use of databases, Word and Excel for mailmerges.
  • Confident using a computer in a networked environment and be experienced in using Microsoft Office software.
  • Proven ability to work to very tight deadlines in a dynamic and flexible environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, diligence and a proven ability to proof-read.
