About the role

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role at the heart of SSAFA supporting our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in leading the organisation.

As Chief of Staff, you will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the CEO, bridging operational delivery with strategic oversight. You will coordinate cross-organisational priorities, ensuring effective communication, accountability, and decision-making across directorates.

Working with senior colleagues, you will provide high-level executive and operational support, represent the CEO when required, and maintain oversight of key organisational initiatives. This role is essential in enabling the CEO to focus on strategic leadership, while you ensure the smooth running of business functions and act as a trusted liaison across the organisation.

About the team

You’ll be working at the centre of SSAFA, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the COO and CEO's Executive Assistant. The role is highly collaborative, requiring strong relationships across the Senior Management Team and all directorates. You will be part of a leadership environment that values trust, open communication, and shared accountability, ensuring the organisation delivers effectively.

Yet it’s a disease most people have never heard of, do not understand and currently has no cure. It takes on average, almost nine years to receive a diagnosis in the UK, leaving many living in pain and without answers.

As the UK’s leading charity for all those affected by endometriosis, we’re determined to change this and ensure that everyone gets prompt diagnosis and the best treatment and support. We have big ambitions in our strategy, focused on raising awareness, better supporting those with endometriosis, driving down diagnosis times, and campaigning for improved treatments and access to services, all possible thanks to the incredible efforts and generosity of our supporters. Last year, almost 70% of our income was from public donations and fundraising, which is incredible. Endometriosis UK is looking for a highly motivated Fundraising Administrator to join our busy fundraising team and help support our growth. This will include working across Community Fundraising, Individual Giving, Trusts &Grants, and our Endometriosis Friendly Employer scheme, by providing administrative and logistical support. Whilst you will not need specific experience in all these areas, you will enjoy working with people, be organised, enthusiastic, and proactive, with a willingness to learn.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with our client n to recruit a Part-time Grants & Admin Officer to join its small but busy team based in lovely offices in Chelsea. This role will work the equivalent of 3.5 days per week worked over 4 or 5 days.
 
The role
 
This role will work closely with the Director and the Schools Programme Manager to provide broad and comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the overall running of this established and highly regarded family foundation. This will include ensuring existing systems and processes are adhered to and updated where necessary, grantees are dealt with promptly, cordially and professionally and the running of the office is efficient and smooth.
 
The role will be responsible for coordinating financial processes, grants administration, office and facilities coordination and executive support to the CEO in addition to arranging high level trustee meetings and wider administrative tasks as they arise. This role will also manage key relationships with contractors who offer external support such as Finance and Website development, in addition to responding to enquiries from existing and potential grantees, advising on process, eligibility criteria and application cycles.
 
The person
 
The successful candidate will have substantial office based, administration experience with broad and wide-ranging coordination skills, spanning office systems, stakeholder engagement, customer service, process management and facilities support.
 
This experience would ideally have been gained in the charity, education or arts-based sectors to compliment the work of the foundation, but similarly, could have been gained from the corporate or statutory sectors where thorough and highly organised processes and procedures have been crucial to success. Helpful, warm and friendly, but firm, fair and confident, this person will have an excellent eye for detail, will be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing and will have a solutions driven approach.
 
Approachable by nature, this person will also be highly numerate, organised and efficient with strong IT skills and the ability to navigate databases and all standard MS Office packages to a competent level. This person will have experience of organising and facilitating high level meetings (for example trustees or senior leadership team) and capable of preparing papers and following up actions to ensure objectives are met and ambitions are achieved. Close, collaborative working is essential to success at the foundation so this person will be a real team player, happy to roll their sleeves up and help out wherever necessary.
 
This person will be naturally interested in the charitable work of the organisation and will see this role as an opportunity to play an important part of the effort to improve people’s lives and to create positive change in arts, education, social welfare and health in the UK.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Our busy London offices will be welcoming a group of new interns to be part of the world's leading global sports and entertainment agency. This is an incredible opportunity to take part in our paid full-time 12-week programme which will run between Monday 12th January – Thursday 30th July 2026. This practical programme will help interns to develop their career in an industry they are passionate about.

Our Foundation Intern is required to work 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday, 10am-6pm, for the duration of the programme at one of our London offices and will support a variety of projects within their assigned department. Projects may include but will not be limited to; conducting research, providing general support for the Foundation Executive, admin and data entry tasks. We are looking for proactive self-starters with an enthusiasm for building a career in the entertainment and non-profit space. 

Strong admin, communication and organisational skills are a must, as well as a proven passion for and knowledge of both entertainment/sports culture and the charitable sector.

The West Midlands Synod of the United Reformed Church is looking for an individual to provide technical expertise on buildings and property in support of Synod Officers, members of Synod Committees and local churches.

This post will involve some travel to properties around the West Midlands (Shropshire, Staffordshire (including the Black Country), Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Birmingham (including the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield and Solihull Metropolitan Borough) and all of Gloucestershire except that covered by the South Gloucestershire Local Authority)

The successful candidate will be working to a wide brief and is expected to undertake a range of duties including, but not limited to, advising and initiating action on property issues in local churches, overseeing quinquennial inspections and manse inspections, and providing advice on property-related matters to Synod Committees.

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience of property matters either through extensive operational management or through the practice of a relevant profession, while holding appropriate qualifications at higher or professional level
• has some knowledge of charity procedures
• is a team player and is used to working collaboratively
• possesses effective oral and written communication skills
• possesses sound IT skills
• has a willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the United Reformed Church
• can work flexibly with some evening and weekend work

About This Job

The Cadet Centre for Adventurous Training (CCAT) has two main delivery centres, Capel Curig Training Camp in North Wales which includes the Headquarters, and Halton Training Camp near Lancaster. It delivers an annual programme of Mountaineering, Paddlesport, Mountain Biking, Caving and Snowsport National Governing Body (NGB) accredited pathways leading to coach, instructor and leader qualifications for Army Cadets aged 15 plus and their adult volunteers.

CCAT also delivers a broad range of national Army Cadet overseas expeditions and a programme of concentrations from their partner centres in Scotland, southern England and Bavaria.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the CCAT team. We are looking for a self-motivated enthusiastic and experienced Support Officer to work with our Centre Manager at Halton.

You will support the Centre Manager ensuring that all of the administrative and logistical requirements are in place to enable safe, effective and enjoyable Adventurous Training courses and expeditions in accordance with current legislation, Army Cadet policies and NGB guidelines.

You may also be required on occasion to support AT concentrations delivered from our partner sites throughout the UK and assist with the delivery of a programme of national overseas expeditions.

This is a rewarding and flexible role. The position is a permanent full-time post (40 hours per week). The successful applicant will be required to travel occasionally. The starting annual salary for this post is £28,808.00.

Essential Skills

· Experience of working with young people and adult volunteers in a residential setting.

· Trained and demonstratable experience of using digital systems e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Westminster or other management systems.

· Demonstrable success in establishing effective working relationships across a range of organisations.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence.

· Excellent organisational and administration skills, self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience of organising and administering residential activities.
• Experience in creating and developing social media presence.

· Hold a full UK driving licence.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Volunteer Recruitment Officer to help encourage and embed quality volunteering processes within the culture of the Woodland Trust.

The Role: 
•    You’ll act as the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues providing assistance via phone, email and internal administration systems. 
•    You’ll support the increase of youth volunteering alongside our ‘Youth Reimagined’ team.
•    You’ll maintain best practice and ensure adherence to volunteer policies, procedures and processes by volunteer managers in the recruitment and management of volunteers.
•    You’ll work within the organisation and volunteer policies, procedures and processes.
•    You’ll demonstrate and encourage an understanding of safeguarding policies and procedure amongst staff and volunteers alike.
•    You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote success stories through our volunteer communication channels.
•    You’ll work closely within safeguarding guidelines and policies and ensure any projects you support are compliant with policies, procedure and best practice.
•    You’ll establish external relationships to help promote our volunteer opportunities to a more diverse demographic.
•    You’ll maintain administrative tasks such as rotas, training and forums.
•  This role is part time working 15 hour a week.
•    This role includes a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Visits to Grantham would be required no more than once every couple of months on average. 

The Candidate:

•    Experience working with volunteers at a national or country level.
•    Knowledge of best practice in relation to volunteer management policies and procedures ensuring it is always adhered to.

•    Experience of delivering online and face to face training and learning events.
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher.
•    Organisation skills with the ability to handle multiple work streams and competing tasks.
•    Experience and understanding of safeguarding policies, procedures and training.
•    Experience developing a volunteering strategy to meet the needs of the organisation.
•    Knowledge of GDPR and data protection practices in relation to volunteer management.
•    Strong communication skills with the ability to speak to a wide range of audiences.
•    This role requires travel around the UK, so you need to have a clean UK driving licence.

Job Purpose

The Partnership Coordinator role is varied, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills. Responsibilities include delivering programme and network activities, managing local hubs, supporting events and meetings, and participating in recruitment and retention activities led by the Partnerships Team.

Working closely with school and trust leaders and hub managers, you will need excellent relationship management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

This position requires individuals who are self-motivated, organised, detail-focused, and strong communicators. 

We are looking for new colleagues to focus on delivering our programmes and networks, ensuring a great experience for our partner schools (about 60-80% of your time). The remaining time will be spent on hub account management, supporting knowledge exchange and network growth, and handling general partner queries.

Key Responsibilities

Programme and Network Delivery:

- Support the planning and delivery of programmes and networks, including scheduling dates, organising training sessions, and other activities.

- Support the organisation and delivery of programme-specific and national events.

- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including resolving operational issues and escalating as needed.

- Provide year-round support to local Hub Managers to ensure schools receive necessary support.

- Monitor programme, network, and hub data to identify risks and/or trends, providing regular reports and updates to support the continuous improvement of our activities. 

Partner Relationship Management:

- Work with the Challenge Partners Central Team to ensure an excellent experience for partners and help schools maximise their partnership value.

- Support the induction and onboarding of new schools to their hubs and the National Network of Excellence.

- Troubleshoot and respond to school or trust queries through internal customer care systems.

- Utilise and update our CRM system (Salesforce).

Communications:

- Respond to email and phone queries about Challenge Partners, programmes, networks, and hubs professionally and promptly.

- Collaborate with programme, network, and partnership leads to provide high-quality communications to partner schools, including renewals, induction, onboarding, engagement emails, and hub updates.

Recruitment and Retention:

- Support year-round recruitment of schools to the Network of Excellence, working with hubs to deliver introductory events.

- Provide updates on schools in your hub to inform retention campaigns.

- Manage leads within your hubs, connecting schools with local hubs and Jubilee Networks.

Other Tasks:

- Perform other tasks as appropriate for the role.
