Vibrance has an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join our team in Woodford Green. You will join us on a full-time basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £38,000 per annum, plus benefits.
You will be responsible for 2 services located within 5 minutes’ walk of each other.
Blueberry Close and Glengall Rd are registered care homes providing 24-hour care for adults with learning and physical disabilities.

About our Service Manager role:
As our Service Manager, you will support and enable people with Learning Disabilities to actively participate within the community at large, working within ‘Vibrances’ core values.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience of delivering services to people with complex needs, who will ensure that the service users receive a high-quality service, ensuring that their individual sessions are planned, executed, and monitored.
You will manage and supervise a dispersed staff team and ensure the co-ordination and delivery of a high-quality flexible service for people living in the community that best meets the needs of these individuals.
You will be expected on occasion to work some shifts and weekends when either service needs the additional support of the manager.
Responsibilities as our Service Manager will include:
- Manage the quality of service provided and implementing improvements that reflect the needs of the Service Users
- Managing the care support provided to the Service Users in a non-judgemental way based upon trust, honesty, transparency, and professional standards
- Supporting Service Users with all daily living tasks and outings as appropriate and development reviews
- Supporting people when out in the community and promoting a better understanding and awareness of Learning Difficulties and Physical disability issues in the general community
- Liaising with other agencies / professional bodies, e.g. Community Learning Disability Services (CLDS), Commissioning Services, Social workers, Occupational Therapists & Physiotherapists to achieve common goals & highlighting any areas of concern.
- Assisting in ensuring all appropriate records are maintained, in accordance with the appropriate regulatory body
- Legislation, in both written, electronic and multimedia form as appropriate.

About the Registered Manager role:
Dunelm is a small Nursing Home for 11 service users with severe learning Disabilities and complex Healthcare needs. You will have an opportunity to lead a team to deliver a very personalised service.
You will manage and supervise a diverse staff team and ensure the co-ordination and delivery of a high-quality flexible service that best meets the needs of these individuals.
You will join us on a full-time, permanent contract (37 hours per week), and in return you will receive a salary of £37,783 - £39,936 per annum, plus benefits
Skills and experience of our ideal Manager:
We are looking for an experienced qualified nurse who has a proven record of delivering services to people with Learning disabilities and additional complex health needs. The successful candidate will be able to co-ordinate high-quality personalised care and support, based on robust assessments, planned care that is implemented and evaluated. You will also need to ensure that all aspects of Vibrance’s Leadership Values into Actions are delivered, and the staff team meet the needs of the service users and experience good outcomes.
You will need to lead a medium sized team of nurses, support staff, have experience of managing a diverse staff team, to co-ordinate staff learning and development, supervision, and staff performance. You will have good English and outstanding communication skills both written and verbal, internally and externally, have a good understanding of IT including Microsoft Office and other digital platforms and applications.
Applicants to this role must have Level 1 Registered Nursing Qualification and current registration with NMC with 5 years of significant nursing, management and supervisory experience in a relevant nursing/care setting.

Vibrance has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our team in Newham and Beckton. You will join us on a full-time basis working 37 hours a week, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 to per annum, plus benefits.
Your rota will be split between supporting our clients at across several 24hr care projects and homes.
As such you will be expected to work a mix of shifts including some weekends and bank holidays.
You will maintain high standards of service, design personalised support plans, provide emotional support and help residents to live a full, active life both at home and in the community. This will include going out for activities such as music concerts, days by the sea, fun fairs, meals out and holidays etc.
Because of our specific service user needs you must be able to push a wheelchair and use a variety of hoists.
Skills and experience of our ideal Deputy Manager:
- A commitment to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities and/or Autism
- Experience of supporting people to meet their goals
- Experience of meeting goals within a timescale
- Strong administrative skills including knowledge and practice of using Microsoft office. You will be expected to use multiple digital platforms
- Experience of using a variety of communication skills to get outcomes
- The ability to motivate and support a diverse staff team
