Defending and promoting human rights in the Sahel is part and parcel of Amnesty International's West and Central Africa Regional Office mandate. In Mali, for several years AI has been documenting serious human rights violations. This situation deprives victims or their families of their right to justice and reparation and constitutes a blank cheque for perpetrators. In this context, Amnesty International (AI) advocates towards national authorities and the international community for the fight against impunity.
AI has joined leading organizations as FIDH (International Federation of Human Rights), ASF (Lawyers without Borders- Canada) and AMDH (Mali Association of Human Rights) to form a consortium that will address the fight against impunity in Mali.

Mosac has been delivering unique support services for the families of victims of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) for over 25 years. In a safe environment, we offer free services to families affected by CSA, all of whom are vulnerable with some being excluded, or facing other forms of hardship. Mosac’s services include a national Helpline, Counselling, Play Therapy, Advocacy & Advice, Training and Email support services. Online Counselling Service
Prior to 2020, all of our counselling was provided through long-term counselling in face-to-face sessions. In 2019 we decided to develop an online counselling pilot to enable us to work with the many clients who were outside of our catchment area.
Since March 2020, as a result of Covid, we moved all of our counselling services to online and telephone counselling. We are expecting to be able to offer face-to-face counselling again in 2021.
Having completed this initial pilot of online counselling we have decided to grow this service for clients across the UK.
Our individual counselling, both online and face-to-face are delivered by committed volunteers. Our volunteers are a mix of trainees and qualified counsellors.

UK SAYS NO MORE is a national campaign to raise awareness to end domestic abuse and sexual violence across the UK.
The campaign provides open-source tools and resources for individuals and organisations to take action and get involved in making a difference. It has been active in raising awareness through 16 Days 16 Films and through influencing the Domestic Abuse Bill. The Counselling Manager at Trust House provides the clinical guidance for Trust House’s Counselling service provision. You will work with individuals who have been affected by sexual abuse or assault at any time in their lives. You’ll be responsible for carrying out and co-ordinating the assessments of adult clients aged 25 years + referred into Trust House in partnership with our Senior Adult Therapist and other team members. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Taking responsibility for embedding the sessional, volunteers, and employed counselling staff within the service.
- Working within Trust House Lancashire’s policies and procedures in relation to safeguarding and protection of vulnerable adults, children and young people, ensuring the escalation of concerns or issues that might arise in the course of our work.
- Ensuring the CEO is kept informed of any trends or themes in presenting issues for service users and any practice issues for Trust House Lancashire in relation to our work with stakeholder agencies.
- Working with our Volunteer Co-ordinator to support development of volunteer and staff induction and training relevant to our work. Identifying gaps in training delivery and leading the development of CPD training opportunities to meet the needs of the service.
- Working closely with all team members to support seamless service delivery.
- Working and liaising with other professionals to address wider client needs.
- Engaging with wider services design and development activities including fundraising, awareness and networking events as well as social media participation and supporting the CEO through contribution to funding applications.
- Participating in opportunities to influence the design and development of services nationally for those affected by rape and sexual abuse.
- Ensuring team use of systems (Lamplight CMS) in accordance with procedures, facilitating consistency of service quality.
- Overseeing and reporting to the CEO on the provision of clinical assessments, waiting times of clients.
- Managing project monitoring, reporting and outcome evaluation procedures in line with Trust House Lancashire’s established protocols and providing activity reports for the CEO for contract monitoring and reporting.
- Providing clinical oversight of Trust House Lancashire’s introductory training, CPD content, and external training offer and where appropriate contributing to delivery.
- Managing counselling project budgets in partnership with the CEO.
- Participating in monthly line management, clinical supervision and team meetings.
- Maintaining client confidentiality, upholding data protection and equal opportunities principles.
- Working according to relevant practice guidelines; The Survivors Trust National Service Standards and the BACP and UKPT Ethical Framework.
- Representing Trust House Lancashire in meetings with stakeholder agencies deputising for the CEO as required.

We are seeking a part time Advice Triage Coordinator to help develop our Advice Service to provide initial triage assessments, signposting, and the coordination of an appointment system for vulnerable asylum seekers and refugees.
The post holder will receive telephone and email enquiries and perform initial consultations with asylum seekers and refugees with advice needs. You will be communicating with vulnerable people in a non-judgemental and empathetic manner, identifying the most effective support for callers.
A good understanding of telephone triaging and experience in providing initial advice to vulnerable clients is essential. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds is required.Due to current Government guidance regarding Covid 19, this role may temporarily be home based.
