You will be responsible for leading the designated area strategically and ensuring it complies with national service delivery standards and best practice guidelines. Key responsibilities of the role are to ensure the successful delivery of a high quality, efficient and responsive services to victims, the identification of income growth and partnership opportunities and building relationships with relevant commissioning bodies and other stakeholders. A focus on team development, and the monitoring of performance and quality are key within the role.
Please note that travel across a large area is an essential part of this role and you may be asked to work unsociable hours on occasion. You must be able to attend in person meetings with commissioners and partners across Lancashire well as attending offices to meet returning staff.

The role of the Domestic Abuse Team Leader is to provide operational support and management to a team of Independent Domestic Violence advisors (IDVAs) that provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse in Cumbria. The role
The Domestic Abuse Team Service Manager will act as a lead professional for Talk, Listen, Change in Manchester and Greater Manchester. This role will be to lead a diverse team of Adult / Children & Young People’s Practitioners to continue the development of a range of domestic abuse services including those focused on prevention, early intervention, behaviour change, services for victims, perpetrators and children and young people. Additionally, the role will involve building key relationships with partner agencies, local authorities and commissioners and managing contracts.

Jasmine Mother & Child Family Residential Centre is a CQC-regulated and Ofsted-registered residential family centre. Women can access pregnancy stabilisation support, or live with their children while addressing substance use, trauma, mental health needs and wider family pressures. The service provides structured support and parenting assessments, helping mothers stabilise, stay in recovery and strengthen safe relationships with their children.
About the role
This role focuses on providing a safe, structured setting where risks can be understood properly, support can be put in place, and parenting capacity can be assessed with the child’s safety at the centre.
The successful candidate will also manage the pregnancy stabilisation pathway giving women the chance to engage early, reduce risk, and begin building stability in a supported setting.

You will provide high-quality legal advice and representation at IAA Level 2/3 or Solicitor standard. Your diverse casework will range from assisting sponsored workers on high-risk visas, to managing complex human rights cases and supporting victims of modern slavery and trafficking. Crucially, your work will not happen in isolation. You will work closely with our employment advice team on overlapping cases, collaborate with policy and comms colleagues to evidence systemic issues, and help deliver public legal information and training.
About you
We seek an enthusiastic professional with at least 3 years of experience delivering high-quality immigration advice, who demonstrates a deep empathy for the experiences of vulnerable migrants.
You will also have:
Level 2 or 3 IAA accreditation OR status as a qualified Solicitor eligible to practice in England and Wales.
A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in law or a related subject.
At least 3 years’ experience providing immigration legal advice in compliance with IAA/SRA standards.
Excellent legal research, analytical, and case management skills, with the ability to manage complex caseloads and tight deadlines.
Outstanding client management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to lay persons clearly and compassionately.
A collaborative, team-first mindset and a commitment to the mission and values of the Work Rights Centre.
Desirable: Knowledge of Modern Slavery and the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), familiarity with social welfare law, or proficiency in a language other than English.
