About the role:

This role is based at our Gloucester office and will require travel within the Gloucestershire area. Hence, holding a valid driving licence is essential.

As a caseworker, you will:

• Effectively manage a caseload of self-referrals or referred service users, delivering excellent services which support the commissioners and their service goals to victims.
• Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
• Undertake risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the client in line with VS operating procedures. To follow relevant safeguarding policies and procedures, working with safeguarding leads and other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to address any safeguarding concerns.
• Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice this could include criminal, legal and if relevant, civil remedies to service users.

You will need:

About the role:

You will lead and support a team of Homicide Family Caseworkers to meet service standards & contractual requirements. You will demonstrate the organisational skills required to manage a demanding & diverse workload and will have experience of achieving key performance indicators.

You will have excellent communication skills & will support the Operation Managers to maintain the highest standards of service delivery, across a widely geographically dispersed team. Your team will cover Central and East of England including; South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedforshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex.

You must live within one of these areas and be prepared to travel across the geographical area including occasional overnight stays to ensure you can meet team members in person as well as online. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. About the role:

This role is home-based and is open to applicants living in Cornwall. Regular travel will be required both to our office in Plymouth & throughout Cornwall, with occasional travel to Devon. Usual working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, however you will need to provide cover 1 day per week working 10:15am to 6:15pm on a rota basis & there may be an occasional need to work outside core hours to meet the demands of the role.

About the role:

As an ISVA you will provide ongoing continuity, advocacy and impartial advice and information to all survivors accessing our service. You will be confident in offering advice such as reporting to the police, accessing Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services, and specialist support such as pre-trial therapy and sexual violence counselling.

You will conduct risk assessments and analyse the specific needs of clients who have suffered sexual violence. Your expertise in this area will enable you to develop individual service plans that address these risks and needs. You will have a proven track record of working with high and complex caseloads and have demonstrated resilience in your professional life, enabling you to work effectively under pressure. You will have extensive experience working with vulnerable clients and possess the skills to maintain professional boundaries and promote empowerment to survivors, rather than fostering reliance on support. You will also be adept at working in a trauma-informed manner, acknowledging that trauma can impact individuals in different ways, and offering support with this as a priority. As an advocate for sexual violence survivors/victims, you will work to promote their confidence, resilience, and empowerment both within and outside of the criminal justice system.

You will provide non-therapeutic support to victims/survivors. This will be delivered face-to-face or via telephone, text and/or email based on the preferences of the client. To build links with services across West Yorkshire to ensure wrap-around support is available.

You will offer guidance and support to clients in navigating the criminal justice process while ensuring their rights are protected in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice. You will be able to explain legal, criminal, and civil remedies to clients as necessary. You will provide victims with access to resources and support to help them through the criminal justice process.

About the role:

This is an exciting role that requires a mixture of skills in relation to learning and development. The role is varied and will involve delivery, design and management of learning to support staff and volunteers within Victim Support. As the face of learning and development within the organisation you will build positive relationships, promote learning and act in an advisory capacity when it comes to development.

You will;

• Deliver and design face to face and virtual training for our volunteers, staff and partners. There is an expectation that you will deliver 4 days per week, with 1 days administration work and time allocated for design projects.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts and senior staff within Victim Support on learning projects within the organisation.
• Create accurate delegate reports and take appropriate action to address any identified under-performance.
• Deliver high quality presentations and learning interventions with a focus on evaluation and continuous improvement.

About the role:

This role is based in Blackpool predominantly covering Lancaster, Fylde and Wyre but there may be a requirement to cover other areas of the county. Hybrid working will be available.

As an IDVA you will be:

• working with victims at high risk of serious harm through domestic violence, supporting them to keep themselves safe, understand their rights and options and support them through the Criminal Justice process (when required)
• completing risk assessments and safety plans
• working with partner agencies to develop multi-agency plans to support victims effectively

You will need:

• a good understanding of the dynamics of domestic abuse
• preferably experience of working with victims at high risk of harm
• an IDVA accreditation or willingness to work towards one
• excellent communication skills as well as empathy
• good levels or organisation and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure

About the role:

This role is home-based with regular travel throughout Devon and Cornwall, including to our office in Plymouth. Hours will be 9am to 5pm with one day per week covering 10:15am to 6:15pm on a rtoa basis & there may be an occasional need to work outside core hours to meet the demands of the role.

As a Stalking Caseworker you will:

• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime (primarily stalking) who accept ongoing support which will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users
• Work alongside and oversee the casework management of a small number of volunteer supporters
• Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer and options for victims and survivors

About the role:

As an IDVA you will be working as a member of the London Domestic Abuse team supporting clients through the co-location at the hospital liaising directly with departments such as ED/ Safe Guarding/ Maternity as well as supporting through the criminal justice system. You will work in partnership with other agencies aiming to increase the level of domestic abuse prosecutions.

As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
