About the Role

Line Manager:Director of Engagement and Education

Salary:£40,000-£45,000 per annum (pro rata if part time)

Normal place of work:The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, Norfolk, with some flexibility for hybrid working (1-2 days per week remote)

Hours:40 hours per week (may include weekends and Bank Holidays as required)

Office & Administration Assistant – Key Responsibilities 

Office management and administration 

• Maintain a welcoming, safe and efficient office environment that enables staff, volunteers and visitors to work effectively, in line with the ‘Groundswellian Way’, our coproduced principles for a safe, positive work culture.

• Manage the day-to-day running of the office, including , refreshments, office supplies, IT equipment, room bookings and reception duties.

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing post, telephone calls and enquiries through the central inbox, ensuring messages and requests are directed promptly to the appropriate member of staff. 

• Build positive working relationships with Workspace, office contractors and suppliers, including cleaners, maintenance providers and other building services.

The Hampstead Garden Suburb Trust is looking for one or more organised, practical and people-focused colleagues to support the day-to-day running of our small conservation charity.

We protect, maintain and enhance the unique character of Hampstead Garden Suburb: an internationally important example of early 20th-century town planning and architecture. This role is central to helping the Trust work well day to day.

The work falls into two connected strands:

• Resident and Office Coordination: supporting residents and visitors, managing enquiries, coordinating office arrangements, helping ensure telephone and inbox cover, and maintaining oversight of the Trust calendar and annual programme.
• Information, Property and Governance Support: maintaining accurate records, supporting property and financial administration, helping with conveyancing enquiries, preparing meeting papers and minutes, and supporting governance processes.

We are open to appointing either one full-time person covering both strands, or more than one part-time colleague with responsibilities divided between them. The final arrangement will depend on the skills, availability and working pattern of the successful candidate or candidates.

This role could suit someone who enjoys varied, useful work in a small organisation where their contribution is visible. You will need to be organised, accurate, calm with the public, confident using records and systems, and able to follow work through reliably.

Some candidates may be stronger in resident contact and office coordination; others may be stronger in records, property administration and governance. Candidates do not need to have experience in every area.

The role is office-based at the Trust office in London NW11. Full-time is 35 hours per week. Part-time and annualised-hours arrangements will be considered. Retail Manager – The Hangar

What does this role do?

As Trusts and Foundations Officer, you'll:

Great support has a substantial impact on small environmental charities and the people they benefit. In this role you will be delivering an established, enjoyable, professional development programme for city farms, community gardens and care farms. You'll focus on training, networking and showcase events. The role involves getting out and about, but most of the work is office work. This role does not include any practical gardening or farming activities.

Hours:                      Three days a week (22.5 hours).  Ideally to include Tuesdays.

Salary:                      Starting salary of £33,573 FTE including London Weighting.

Pension: 5% of salary for standard contracted hours after successful completion of a 3-month probation period.

Role Overview:

To support the delivery of a popular, enjoyable programme of training, networking and events designed with and for city farms and community gardens. The programme improves the long-term viability of individual city farms and community gardens and builds the network as a whole, contributing to the sustainability of vibrant local communities throughout the capital.

The London Development Officer is part of a London team of two, working closely with the London Development Manager, and staff of city farms and community gardens, including the trustees of the London Association of City Farms and Community Gardens. The London team works with the wider team of Social Farms &  Gardens based in the UKs countries and regions.

The London programme is well-established and well-regarded.
Annual outputs include:  

· Training days designed and delivered by SF&G members

· Networking tours of community growing spaces

· Showcase events including the London Harvest Festival

Job purpose

To grow DigiDAD's reach and impact by building relationships with professionals who can introduce the platform to young dads; showing those professionals how to use DigiDAD confidently with the young dads they support; and gathering feedback from professionals and young dads that informs ongoing improvement of the platform and NEYDL's outreach approach. This role works closely with the DigiDAD Programme Manager to support DigiDAD's growth, sharing feedback and helping to inform planning around outreach, platform and content development.

Hours - Full-time (35 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with some evening and weekend working expected to meet the needs of the project

Location - Hybrid, home-based with regular travel to NEYDL’s Gateshead base and professional meetings in the North East, with some national travel

Key responsibilities

1. Professional outreach and relationships

•Build relationships with professionals likely to introduce DigiDAD to the young dads they work with, or to recommend it to colleagues, through networking, invitations to present, and warm referrals

•Work with NEYDL’s Young Dads Workers to identify and follow up on professional contacts they already engage with who may be interested in DigiDAD

•Identify and strategically prioritise the outreach opportunities most likely to lead to new registrations

•Represent DigiDAD at a small number of carefully selected events or conferences each year, where the audience is a strong match for DigiDAD’s goals

2. Onboarding and engagement

•Deliver onboarding sessions and demonstrations to professionals, showing them what DigiDAD offers and how to use it with the young dads they support

•Deliver and/or support regular webinars for current and prospective DigiDAD users, covering both professional and young dad audiences as needed

•Support professionals through the registration and onboarding process, and help them confidently introduce DigiDAD to the young dads they work with 

•Encourage service beneficiaries to engage with DigiDAD content through dissemination of DigiDAD news, updates, and information across our in-house communication channels e.g. WhatsApp groups and DigiDAD Gaming community on Discord

3. Feedback and evaluation

•Hold structured conversations with young dads who use DigiDAD to gather feedback on content, design and user experience

•Gather feedback on outreach materials and messaging, and share insights with the DigiDAD Programme Manager to inform evaluation, reporting and improvements 

4. Working with the Business Development Manager

•Maintain regular contact with NEYDL’s Business Development Manager, including a simple shared tracker to record and follow up leads

•Refer any commissioning or training sales opportunities identified through DigiDAD outreach to the Business Development Manager

•Follow up DigiDAD-interested contacts referred by the Business Development Manager

5. Recording and reporting

•Record outreach activity and registration data accurately and in a timely way, in line with NEYDL’s data management and evaluation systems

•Contribute ideas for campaign activity, content and service development based on direct engagement with users and professionals

6. Standard clauses

Individual Giving Officer 

Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekend work 

Term: Six-month FTC, with possibility of extension 

Location: Loughborough Junction, London. Hybrid working, three days required in the office or at one of our hospital sites. 

Salary: £29-31K dependent on experience

The Role

Our Individual Giving programme is central to our fundraising strategy to increase our unrestricted, sustainable income. This is a key role in supporting the Individual Giving Manager to recruit and steward donors across a range of channels including face-to-face, telemarketing, direct mail and digital. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple programmes including regular giving, lottery, cash appeals, in-memory and legacy, as well as to play a key role in our matched funding Christmas campaign. This role will help to meet or exceed our annual targets which will help us provide the best care for patients, staff and loved ones at our hospitals. 

Key Tasks 

• Help to co-ordinate our match funded Christmas Campaign 
• Using evidence-based insights, support with the planning and implementation of several integrated direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels including direct mail, email, social, display advertising and newsletters including managing suppliers on concept creation, oversight of copy and creative and delivery schedules. Work with the IG Manager on performance analysis and learnings to enable enhancements and improvements  
• Support the IG Manager in the set up and operational management of our face-to-face fundraising campaigns for regular donor and lottery player recruitment. Including invoice processing, complaint handling, site management and training for third party fundraising teams  
• Work with the other IG Officer to optimise and improve our regular giving and lottery stewardship journeys. This will include researching and proofing content, engaging with supporters and looking for opportunities to cross-sell 
• Being proactive in writing up process documents and maintaining documents for Individual Giving Team  
• Day-to-day point of contact with external agencies including face-to-face agencies, creative agencies, printers and fulfilment houses  
• To support the Head of Supporter Engagement with the development of a legacy marketing programme 
• Support with the stewardship of our in-memory donors, including donors who set up tribute pages on MuchLoved 
• Work with hospital staff and stakeholders to gather content, encourage fundraising and manage our contactless stations  
• Work with our Supporter Services Team to monitor and action all feedback, speaking with supporters over the phone and via email, and properly recording supporter interactions on our database 
• Work with the Fundraising Operations team to open fundraising post and log cash, card and cheque donations 
• Send out stewardship materials to supporters from the office 
• Support the C&E Manager with fundraising event and donor stewardship as required 
• Work with the Communications Team to develop internal messaging for the Charity and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust  
• Work with the Finance Team to process invoices and ensure activities are properly coded
