We’re looking for a Data and Information Officer to support our High Value Fundraising teams with the regular, accurate workflow of data information to help guide decision making, drive performance, and ultimately increase our fundraising income.

What does this role do?
As Data and Information Officer, you’ll:

• provide the High Value Fundraising team with accurate, easy to use and relevant data and information, from generating invite lists to special events to performance reports on team KPI’s, you’ll be the go-to person for data,
• regularly update and cleanse data to ensure it remains accurate,
• support with gift processing, working closely with Gift Processing teams and finance to ensure reconciliation is accurate,
• support with process improvements, from implementing new dashboards in Salesforce, supporting the effective use of the system and generally being curious about new ways to use data in the team.

This role is a fixed term contract until May 2027. Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for week commencing 1st June 2026, and will take place on Teams.

Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some experience of handling data, with the ability to extract, cleanse and manipulate large data sets to support decision making. You’ll need to be able to prioritise your workload, as you’ll likely have multiple requests from varied stakeholders, and the ability to understand the needs of different teams and translate them into data requests. Strong, proactive communication skills are essential, as well as a passion for the work we do.

Are you an enthusiastic fundraiser who is looking for a rewarding role where you interact with generous supporters?
We're looking for a Community Fundraising Officer, based at our rehoming centre in West Calder, to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups and deliver excellent customer care for all Dogs Trust supporters, but particularly potential and existing legacy pledgers.

What does this role do?
As Community Fundraising Officer, you’ll:

• link the rehoming centre with supporters in the local community, developing relationships with local individuals, businesses, community groups and clubs, 
• feed into various income streams through these relationships, identifying prospects in the community and develop a pipeline of future donors and legacy donations,
• steward existing and potential donors, always providing them with a seamless supporter journey, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the work we do and feel motivated to support our meaningful local work,
• organise supporter events, talks and tours both onsite and externally.
• completing all administration related to donations to the centre, including thanking and banking.

Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 8th and 9th June 2026, and will take place at our rehoming centre in West Calder.

Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some community fundraising experience, with the ability to build connections and connect with the local community. To do this, you’ll need excellent communication skills and be able to confidently approach and interact with supporters. While you’ll be a key part of the rehoming centre team, you’ll be regularly be working independently, so strong organisational skills and a proactive approach is essential.

This role is based at the rehoming centre, and the post holder will spend lots of time in the community meeting supporters. The working pattern is typically Monday to Friday, but flexibility is required and is likely to involve some evening and weekend work, depending on the nature of the work.

The Trusts and Grants Officer is responsible for securing and growing income from charitable trusts, foundations and other agreed grant-making bodies to support LOROS’ core services and strategic priorities.

The post holder will develop and manage a high-quality pipeline of trust and foundation prospects, produce compelling and evidence-led funding applications, steward funders through excellent reporting and relationship management, and contribute to the wider philanthropy and major giving programme.

We are seeking an Assistant Coastal Birds Project Monitoring Officer to join our cause.

You will be responsible for delivering a key element of the Bird Aware Solent programme of which the Trust is a partner. 

Bird Aware Solent aims to raise awareness of overwintering coastal birds within the three Solent Special Protection Areas (SPAs) and reduce disturbance to coastal birds through influencing the behaviour of visitors, and through projects that aim to mitigate for increased visitor and recreational pressures in the Solent.

You will assist on the design and implementation of pre and post mitigation monitoring for the projects, by surveying and assessing the impacts on coastal birds and visitor behaviour. 

About you: 

Monitoring and research work is essential to ensuring conservation decision-making is based on sound evidence. This role therefore requires experience in coastal bird ecology, ecological survey techniques and data analysis. 

You’ll be an enthusiastic team player with an interest in coastal bird ecology. This role would suit a candidate who is interested in applying their affinity for data analysis to the benefit of birds and people through strategic mitigation solutions.

Reporting to: Accommodation and Facilities Manager

Location: Baca office, Loughborough, England. The role will require regular travel to other locations where Baca’s services are delivered

Overall Purpose

To provide maintenance support to the organisation, ensuring premises are maintained at a standard that will serve the mission of Baca. This will include properties across Loughborough and 2 office sites.

Duties Responsibilities

• Organise and conduct required maintenance at all Baca sites. The below list is not exhaustive but some of the below skills will be required to fulfil the role; General Plumbing; bathroom and kitchen plumbing repairs, blocked toilets & sinks etc, Painting and Decorating, Basic carpentry skills, Meter Reading for electricity and gas meters, Fire Testing; routine testing of smoke and CO alarms.
• To become familiar and actively use the Baca’s maintenance management system which aids the reactive and planned works across all sites.
• Communicating with contractors, residential workers and landlords as required, ensuring repairs and maintenance is conducted when planned.
• Administering quarterly checks, quarterly cleans, health and safety requirements and annual servicing such as: PAT testing and Gas safety on properties and reporting issues for follow up.
• Working alongside the Premises Manager, administer the Health & Safety checks on all Baca properties including the offices, to ensure regulatory requirements are met and associated paperwork is completed.
• Support in the setting-up and closing down of properties and rooms between moves.
• Administering the setup and set-down of rooms for young people moves between Baca properties, ensuring the rooms are ready for new young people.
• Ensuring the office and car parks are clean and tidy, ensuring visitor experience is positive, professional, welcoming, friendly and helpful.
• Assist the Premises Manager and Finance Manager with year-end Fixed Assets verification.
• Supporting with other administrative activities in line with the team needs.

Personal Specification

Baca is looking for someone who can help the organisation with the housing maintenance and day to day function of all properties it houses young people in and our offices. The successful applicant will be motivated and passionate about the work that Baca does and the young people in our care. They will be very organised and practical, able to get on with tasks that need doing on a day-to-day basis, managing a varied and busy workload. They will be very approachable and enjoy working on their own as well as part of a team and supporting others. The successful applicant will need access to transport as the role requires travel between the properties that Baca manages including the transportation of items to the properties.

The successful applicant will have a personable style that is in line with Baca’s vision and values. Someone who is supportive, approachable, responsible, reliable and personable.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience

• Good knowledge/understanding of the building and maintenance process.
• A good awareness of general health and safety, especially regarding maintenance work.
• Ability to use computers well, with experience in Microsoft Office and on-line email systems.
• Experience of prioritising workload to meet competing deadlines.
• Advocate of customer care including experience of dealing with a range of client queries/concerns in a professional and understanding manner.

Skills/Abilities

• Experienced in the use of hand tools and familiar working with timber, basic plumbing materials, furniture building, decorating and gardening.
• Excellent personal organisation with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a number of tasks at any one time.
• Self-motivated to complete a varied workload.
• Working well as part of a team is essential.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interact well with staff, contractors and visitors to the office and other properties.
• Ability to work to deadlines and respond in a flexible way to the changing demands of Baca’s work.

You will lead innovative fundraising campaigns, foster and manage community relationships and ensure exceptional supporter experiences. Your role will encompass key community fundraising campaigns to maximise support and donations from both community groups and individuals.

In this role you will collaborate with the wider team to ensure a unified and effective approach to fundraising to ensure that the charity is financially sustainable and widely recognised by the local community. You will support the promotion and delivery of significant events, provide excellent stewardship and enhance supporter journeys. Your proactive, can-do attitude and dedication will play a crucial role in achieving substantial revenue growth and driving the success of our strategic initiatives.
