The Opportunity
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Team Leader to deliver our King’s Trust Team Programme—a 12-week personal development course for young people aged 16–25. This is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people who are unemployed or facing personal challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Recruit and support young people through the programme
- Plan and deliver engaging activities, including residentials and community projects
- Provide one-to-one mentoring and support
- Deliver and assess the King’s Trust Certificate in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills (up to Level 2)
- Work with local partners to enhance the programme
- Promote safeguarding and ensure participant wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with young people or in youth/community development
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A positive, empathetic, and motivational approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and equality
- Access to your own transport

BACKUP North West delivers support and housing services for homeless and vulnerable young people in Bolton. Due to growth we are looking for several new colleagues to work in front line service delivery roles across our supported housing provision. Your primary role will be to enable young people to achieve their potential, be safe and secure and move out of (literally) homeless services.

About Women in Prison
Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.

Job Purpose:
To lead the operational delivery of Women in Prison’s services across Wandsworth, Sutton and Merton, including the management of the Wandsworth Hub and line management of two Advocates. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed support for women affected by the criminal justice system and will also support the development and integration of a new South London-based project focused on women who have had children removed or are at risk of child removal.ma
Key Responsibility Area
- Lead operational delivery of the South London Women’s Hubs, ensuring trauma-informed, high-quality support for women affected by the criminal justice system.
- Provide strong leadership to staff teams, fostering a culture of learning, inclusion and accountability
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance through effective systems, data oversight and reporting
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key agencies to enhance support pathways and systemic impact
