At the Poppy Factory, we help armed forces veterans with health conditions to find meaningful and sustainable employment after service. This often means overcoming significant barrier to employment. As an Employment Consultant, you will be assisting veterans across the region back into work. Based at your home, but with extensive travel, you will help with application materials, overcome challenges, and connect with employers. You will also work alongside professionals in other services such as health or welfare to ensure that the veterans have access to all the support they need to overcome barriers to gain and retain employment.

- This is hugely varied role and no two days are the same. You will often need to balance competing priorities or quickly shift focus depending on the needs of the people you will be supporting.
- Experience of and confidence in supporting people with complex challenges such as, health issues, substance use, insecure housing, criminal records, or other barriers to employment.
- You will be an emotionally resilient individual who can effectively navigate challenging circumstances and provide unwavering support to those in need.

Role overview
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Programme Coordinator to help keep our busy calendar of classes, events, and community activities running like clockwork. This is a varied role with a focus on bookings and administration, alongside outreach, communications, and reporting, helping us reach more people, share our story, and measure the difference we make. The role will be onsite at our teaching space in Hackney. You’ll play a really key role in our team, making sure everyone, from our chef educators to our school partners, has the right information at the right time. You’ll coordinate the scheduling of a range of programmes, from weekly school sessions to seasonal events, ensuring each is delivered smoothly, safely and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities
Programme & Administrative Coordination
- Act as the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries via phone, email, and in-person show-arounds.

- Coordinate all aspects of school, after-school, and holiday cooking programmes — including outreach, scheduling, and briefing the delivery team.

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser who can work with us on a part time, freelance basis (Sept/Oct 2025 - January 2026) for a fee of £16Kto produce and undertake the following specialist services:
- Research and produce a bespoke 18-month Fundraising Plan for the Trust, with a particular focus on Museums, collections, community engagement, conservation and organisational resilience.

About the role
You’ll be responsible for the operational delivery of newly diagnosed activities and events. You’ll contribute to planning, monitoring, reviewing and taking action to maintain quality research.

Horatio’s Garden is a nationwide charity creating and nurturing beautifully designed gardens in NHS spinal injury centres. We are seeking two creative, dynamic people with warm and welcoming personalities for the roles of Patient Support Coordinator, one for each of the following locations:
- Horatio's Garden Midlands, The Midland Centre for Spinal Injuries
- Horatio’s Garden Scotland, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital
You will be responsible for organising and running a range of social and creative activities for people with spinal injuries and their families and friends to enjoy during the week and at weekends, creating an uplifting, friendly atmosphere in Horatio’s Garden and garden room.
Currently the programme includes crafts, quizzes, glass fusing workshops, felting, printing, talks, painting, ceramic workshops, seasonal celebrations with lunches, baking, live music performances and social afternoons.
You will need to be a highly organised person who is confident working independently in the garden and via Teams with the Events Programme Manager, Evie Redwood. The role is part-time, 10.5 hours a week, consisting of one weekend afternoon (approx. 4 hours), a weekday afternoon workshop (approx. 3.5 hours) and 3 hours of admin time a week. Main Purpose of the Role
Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime. Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester.
As the post holder you will be responsible for delivering our front-line work to young people, parents and other adults (professionals). You will work in schools and in community settings across London to generate impact for young people using Khulisa’s trauma-informed approach. This role requires an enhanced DBS check.
The post holder will be required to work from home permanently but be willing and able to easily travel regularly to various locations in London as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role, to deliver aspects of the programme, and to engage with other stakeholders and colleagues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Programme Delivery:
· Facilitate the delivery of sessions in our flagship Face It programme and modular workshops to young people, our Nurturing Connections programme for parents and carers, and our trauma training for professionals.
· Facilitate delivery to a high standard in all settings (schools, youth services, and community spaces), ensuring that you are always taking a trauma informed approach.
· Facilitate various youth participation workshops, co-delivering with young people as much as practicable.
