We are looking to recruit a new Fundraising Coordinator who believes in our vision that there should be “No Street Called Home” for children living on the streets in Uganda and who wants to help us to grow this impact and further change children’s lives.

Reporting to: Development Manager

Location: Remote

Working Hours: Part-time, 2.5 days per week (working days are flexible)

Salary: £27,000 pro rata (based on a full-time equivalent 37.5 hour week)

Contract Length: One year, fixed term (with the potential to extend based on available funding)

This is a 2.5 day a week role which would be perfect for someone looking for a flexible job that makes a big social justice impact. This would suit someone with family responsibilities or who is studying a part time masters course for example, who needs a job role that fits in around their other commitments. You could work it full time over 2.5 days or part time over 4 or 5 days a week.

You will be joining a wonderful team in the UK and Uganda. We currently have two paid staff (based in London and Bournemouth) and a variety of volunteers in the UK, plus a team of 26 staff in Uganda. Your views will be valued and you will get the chance to work together within our team to problem solve and suggest ideas to improve our programmes at every step of the way.

Job Purpose

• To support the Development Manager in securing appropriate funding for the organisation
• To support the Development Manager in managing fundraising partnerships
• To support the administrative functioning of the organisation
• To work collaboratively with, and offer support to, the rest of the UK team, to best meet S.A.L.V.E.’s aims and objectives.
• To work with the S.A.L.V.E. team as required, developing and improving our existing programmes of work to best benefit our service users.
• To raise awareness of the work of S.A.L.V.E. International and be an ambassador for us in the community.

Key Activities

The following activities are intended as a guide to the main responsibilities of the post and are not an exhaustive list of duties and tasks. • Researching and writing funding applications to Trusts, Foundations and Corporate CSR programmes, in order to secure funding for new programmes or projects
• Writing funding reports, to fulfil obligations to funders
• Building strong relationships with funders and partners, to secure long-term, sustainable funding and identify new funding opportunities
• Leading on the design and delivery of the organisations Community Fundraising strategy
• Supporting the CEO and Development Manager with admin tasks, to ensure the effective functioning of the organisation.
• Working with the S.A.L.V.E. team to deliver on our strategic plan. Contribute to its review and improvements over time to maximise the organisation’s impact with our service users through regular evaluation and learning reviews where required.

• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify funding opportunities and assess their suitability
• Excellent IT Skills including a wide range of software packages such as Excel, Word etc
• Experience of using design software packages such as Canva (preferrable)
• Experience using a CRM for donor management (Beacon preferred)

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Uganda and its culture, particularly if you have spent time there.
• Knowledge of international development, homelessness, social entrepreneurship, social work and/or addiction.

Community Project Lead

IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of SEND law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Community Project Lead to join our team and lead the development of our advice services for under-served communities. This two-year, fixed-term role is a key part of our strategy to reach groups who may not traditionally engage with IPSEA’s support - including children and families with English as an additional language, cared-for children (children in care), migrant children, detained children, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.

The project builds on a detailed scoping exercise we’ve recently completed, which involved working closely with a wide range of charities and organisations that support these communities. The resulting report outlines the barriers they face, and will form the foundation for this project and directly inform the work you will lead.

What you’ll do 

• Design and develop pilot advice services that are tailored to the needs of under-served communities, using findings from IPSEA’s research 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, charities and service providers to co-produce accessible services 

• Collaborate with IPSEA’s advice, legal and policy teams to address the barriers these communities face in accessing SEND legal advice 

• Contribute to and share outreach materials, training resources and toolkits to support families of under-served communities and empower local advocates 

• Plan and lead workshops, focus groups and community events to raise awareness, gather feedback and enhance service delivery 

• Monitor and report on project outcomes and impact, providing regular updates to IPSEA staff and stakeholders

As a member of the Programmes team, the Programme Lead (Out There Award) will be responsible for the successful development and delivery of the programme across GB.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on the design, development and operational delivery of the Out There Award programme across GB.
• Create operational delivery plans – to identify milestones, monitor risks, resolve issues and manage resource requirements.
• Design and develop resources and processes to support programme implementation.
• Be responsible for managing a budget in line with programme goals and objectives.
• Be responsible for evaluation and reporting, to ensure the programme meets KPIs and delivers measurable impact.

Globally, it campaigns to influence laws and policies that protect rainforests and their inhabitants. 

The DRC Fieldwork Coordinator role sits within RFUK’s largest Programmes team: Land & Livelihoods. A central aspect of the L&L team’s work is supporting communities to establish and manage community forests as well as working at the national and policy levels to achieve wider impact. This role will be pivotal to a new phase of community forest expansion in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is being supported by the Rainforest Trust. We have an exciting new opportunity for a Governance Adviser to join our busy Governance team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high level secretariat support for the end to end cycle of meetings and activity within your allocated RBL committees, sub committees and UK and overseas subsidiaries. Working in a small and tight knit team, this role supports the wide range of activities forming the engine room of RBL’s corporate governance. As GPAC’s Planning and Performance Lead you will help us understand how the department is contributing towards WaterAid’s global strategy and maximise our global impact. The role will support GPAC’s work by leading the planning and performance assessment work, focussing on ensuring that the advocacy activity delivered across the department is aligned and working towards the same outcomes.

The role will work closely with the Directors in GPAC’s SMT and with members of the International Programmes Department (IPD) SMT to ensure that both departments’ plans are aligned. It will also engage with key Federation members involved in global policy, advocacy and campaigns work, with the WaterAid International Secretariat, and with the Global and UK performance, strategy and planning teams.

In this role, you will lead the design of the planning process for the department to deliver annual plans, ensuring alignment with similar processes in key Federation members and other departments, as well as being integrated with the wider organisation’s planning cycles.

You’ll also: 

• Project manage the implementation of the planning process, working in close coordination with GPAC SMT directors as well as and as relevant with other WaterAid, Member and WaterAid International directors.
• Lead the process to deliver an M&E framework for GPAC (including new metrics as relevant), that balances the effort required with the need to drive data informed decisions and actions.
• Run the quarterly and annual reporting cycle, working with senior leaders in GPAC to deliver high quality data, run learning sessions to reflect on the data to enable data driven and effective decision making.
• Manage the regular collation of data across the department and shared to the wider organisation, including to the Executive and Board reporting processes
• Represent GPAC in wider WaterAid UK and global groups around performance and planning.

As we embark on an exciting 5-year strategy we are looking to recruit an experienced Individual Giving Manager to focus on the delivery of repeat giving. Developing our weekly lottery, raffles and regular giving products and the sustainable income they provide.

This will be a crucial role within the team and playing the lead role in promoting these forms of giving to a wide external audience. Ensuring that we increase our reach across all areas of our communities through all forms of communications and engagement. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Case Hanlder (known internally as a Team leader) to join the National Homicide Service (HS), leading the London, Thames Valley & Hampshire caseworker team. This is a home based role working 37.5 hours per week.

About the role:

You will lead and support a team of Homicide Family Caseworkers to meet VS and Homicide Service standards and contractual requirements. You will have a passion for excellent service delivery, performance management and team welfare.

The family caseworkers provide in person support to families who have experienced the sudden and traumatic death by Homicide. The caseworkers are responsible for ensuring the needs identified are met, that each person being supported receives guidance, advise and practical support as well as emotional support and advocacy.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills essential to managing a diverse workload, and be committed to supporting the caseworkers to deliver support.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional trauma informed advocacy and support to all and you will have an understanding of the impact that trauma and bereavement can have on individuals.

We support staff to keep them safe within their role and you will lead on the importance of personal and professional resilience and wellbeing for the team.

You will have excellent communication skills and will support the Operation Managers to maintain the highest standards of service delivery, across a widely geographically dispersed team.

You will be prepared to travel across the geographical area including occasional overnight stays to ensure you can meet team members in person as well as online.

You will enjoy working closely with a range of stakeholders (including Police Family Liaison Officers and Senior Investigation Officers within the Major Crime teams/Coroner officers and other statutory agencies) and will have experience in building constructive working relationships.

You should be confident to deliver internal and external presentations to a wide range of audiences. You will have experience of achieving key performance indicators, as directed by the Operations managers and Deputy Head of Service.

This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. Purpose of the role:

The Junior Salesforce Administrator role supports the effective use and ongoing development of the Churchill Fellowship’s Salesforce CRM platform and related applications. Working closely with the Salesforce Team and other internal teams, you will ensure our data remains accurate and accessible, help to improve business processes, and provides user support and training across the organisation. You will play a key part in ensuring Salesforce functions as the single source of truth for organisational data. 

Key responsibilities:

Salesforce Administration and Support:

• Support day-to-day Salesforce user needs, including responding to support tickets and troubleshooting.
• Maintain data quality through duplicate management, validation rules, and standardised field formatting.
• Assist with regular data cleaning activities and updates to system records. 
• Help to prepare technical documentation and user guidance materials. 
• Contribute to routine platform maintenance, upgrades, and third-party app integrations (e.g., FormAssembly, Conga). 
• Support data reporting and dashboards to ensure teams can access reliable insights. 
• Collaborate on developing and refining automated processes using Flows and other Salesforce tools.

Grant & Event Technical Support:

• Assist with the technical setup of grant-related processes in Salesforce, including automations and applicant communications. 
• Support the Events and Development teams with Salesforce Campaign setup, RSVP forms, and invitation tracking. 
• Help ensure integrations and automations run smoothly before, during, and after events. 
• Monitor engagement and follow-up activities through reports and dashboards.

Recruitment Process
