Job description

Salama Pads

Many girls and women in Tanzania, particularly those from low-income communities, lack access to safe, affordable, and long-lasting menstrual hygiene products. This results in menstrual-related school absenteeism, health risks from unsafe materials, and reduced academic performance.

The solution is offering a safe, reusable, long-lasting, and affordable menstrual hygiene product designed specifically for girls and women from low-income communities. The pads are chemical-free, suitable for both light and heavy flow, and provide a sustainable alternative to costly or unsafe menstrual products. By ensuring reliable access to proper menstrual hygiene, Salama Pads helps reduce school absenteeism and improves the overall well-being and dignity of users.

At Salama Pads, we create high-quality reusable pads that empower women and protect the planet. We’re on a mission to make sustainable hygiene accessible for all.
