Job description

Trustee Role: Join the MINDSET Leadership Crew! (UK-Based)

The Volunteer Role: Strategic Game-Changer

Tired of board meetings that feel like they belong in the 80s? Good. So are we.

We are MINDSET Charity: a new, fast-moving, start-up and fiercely dedicated UK charity focused on giving men (16-50) the real talk, safe spaces, and tools they need to level up their mental fitness and personal growth. Our vibe is positive, uplifting, and absolutely no-BS.

We Need Boardroom Talent That Thinks Outside the Box

We're looking for Trustees—the strategists, the thinkers, the experienced hands—who want to help us shape the future of men's wellbeing. This isn't just a governance role; it's the engine room of our growth.

What you'll be doing (The Serious Bit, Made Simple):

  • Setting the Compass: Helping us plot the course, decide where our resources go, and make sure we stick to our mission (and the law!).

  • Big Picture Thinking: Using your experience (maybe finance, legal, marketing, governance, or charity sector know-how) to solve problems and seize opportunities.

  • Being Our Cheerleader: Ensuring the charity's brand stays authentic, vibrant, and always focused on the men we serve.

Who You Are (The Vibe Check)

You don't need to have been a Trustee before, but you do need some serious experience in one of the key areas that helps a small startup charity survive and thrive. You also need to:

  1. Get Our Mission: You genuinely care about men’s mental health and self-improvement.

  2. Be Ready to Roll Your Sleeves Up: We're new! Expect to be impactful, hands-on, and a crucial part of the leadership team.

  3. Think Strategically: You can look past next week and help us plan for the next five years.

  4. Have a Positive, Uplifting Attitude: You match the energy of the MINDSET brand!

What’s In It For You?

  • Real Impact: You'll be one of the key people responsible for getting vital services off the ground.

  • Serious Networking: Connect with other high-calibre leaders passionate about social change.

  • CV Boost: Adding 'Trustee' to your profile for a dynamic, growing charity looks seriously good.

Ready to Lead?

This is your chance to be part of the solution, not just a spectator. If you’re nodding along and feeling the fire, we want to hear from you.
