We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bookkeeper to help us manage our charity accounts a few hours per week. We are a small team and would like support with the accounting package and accounts we use so we can concentrate on raising more funds for sick and premature babies in neonatal care across the country.

Applicants must be experienced in using the Xero accounting platform.

Key Responsibilities

 •  Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent aligned with our values.

 •  Provide guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.

 •  Coordinate training and professional development opportunities to support employee growth and well-being.

 •  Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and maintain up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

Key Skills and Qualifications

 •  Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or social enterprise setting.

As an Administration Volunteer you’ll play an essential role in your local group.

You’ll act as the first point of contact for the group and circulate information to other volunteers and members. You’ll ensure that data and details are kept up to date, to comply with data protection legislation.

In this role you’ll develop your administration and organisation skills. 

Overview of the Role:

The Head of IT & Systems will lead the technological vision, strategy, and execution

for the organization. This role requires a strong focus on developing robust IT

systems, overseeing digital transformation, ensuring data security, and maintaining

operational efficiency to support the organization's objectives. Management and

people leadership are integral to this role, ensuring effective team collaboration and

development.

Commitment: This role requires a flexible commitment of approximately 5 to 10

hours per week, which can be adjusted to fit around other responsibilities
