Treasurer & Finance Lead (Trustee)

About Us:
MINDSET Charity is a brand-new, grassroots, volunteer-led charity based in Ealing, West London. Our mission is to support the mental wellbeing, emotional resilience, and personal growth of local men and boys. Through positive role models, structured mentoring, and growth-mindset coaching, we aim to build a stronger, more supportive community from the ground up.

The Role:
Trust is our currency, and clear financial governance is vital for our survival. We are looking for a Treasurer to join our founding board. You will oversee our financial health, help us set up our community bank account, and ensure we remain fully compliant as we secure our first local grants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the charity's basic bookkeeping and dual-signatory bank account.
• Present simple financial updates at our monthly committee meetings.
• Assist the Charity Manager with budget planning for grant applications (e.g., Ealing Council, National Lottery).
• Prepare the annual financial statement for the committee.

What We Are Looking For:

• A background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management.
• Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets).
• An eye for detail and a commitment to transparency.
