Role Summary.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Podcast Producer to support the planning and delivery of local podcasts. You will be responsible for planning and booking studio recording sessions, managing post production editing, and working closely with the host and other team members to make this the no #1 podcast for North American Muslim university students.

Key tasks

• Brainstorming, contacting and liaising with guests to appear on the podcast
• Booking and preparing the recording studio for filming sessions
• Recording the podcast in the studio alongside the guest and host
• Cooperating with the host to plan the structure and topics covered in each episode
• Coordinating research and brainstorming sessions to identify potential guests and topics
• Collaborating with data analyst and design team to test and produce attention-grabbing thumbnails and titles
• Uploading the podcast to our video and audio platforms

Role Summary 

Campus coordinators are responsible for establishing partnerships with University Muslim Student Associations (MSAs) and Islamic Societies (ISocs), and maintaining positive relationships with these sites. 

Key tasks 

• Actively establish and maintain positive relationships with the MSA committees and Student Ambassadors to ensure an exceptional onsite experience for students and promote retention of sites 

• Be responsible for overseeing all onsite logistics through liaison with the Student Ambassador to ensure that onsite logistics including advertising of the class and other required tasks are taken care of by the MSA/ISoc 

• Be the point of contact for MSAs: answer questions from the MSA leadership and Student Ambassadors to the best of your ability and engage them on a 1-1 basis, listen to their needs and concerns and addressing these accordingly 

• Collect ideas and best-practices from how different MSAs are delivering their workshop 

• Participate in onboarding current and new sites prior to the start of the academic year 

• Be the point of contact internally for any queries or updates related to assigned MSAs

The Operations Coordinator helps the Leads Team turn decisions into execution.

Working closely with the Leads Team, this role creates visibility on what is moving, identifies what is stuck, and challenges the team to focus on what matters most.

The goal is to provide leadership with the clarity and accountability needed to move Roots forward.

Fundraising Project Coordinator (Volunteer) 

The Owen Smith Charitable Trust 

Location: Ealing, London / Hybrid 

Salary: Unpaid role 

Expenses: Agreed travel expenses may be reimbursed for attendance at the Ealing location, by prior agreement.

This voluntary role would suit someone who enjoys research, organisation and coordination, and wants to help a small charity build a more consistent approach to fundraising. Initial trial and review

The role will begin with an initial one-month trial period to establish whether the role and ways of working are a good fit for both the volunteer and the Trust. 

Initial priorities will be agreed with the Project Director and may include becoming familiar with our projects and funding priorities, researching opportunities and developing the funding pipeline. 

Following the first-month review, the role may continue by mutual agreement, with the volunteers’ contribution and progress reviewed over the first three months. 

The review will consider the quality of funding research and application support, as well as organisation, reliability, communication, initiative and collaboration. You will act as a friendly point of contact for parent carers, particularly families from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, helping connect them with local support, activities, information and opportunities.

We’re looking for a reliable and organised volunteer to become a key part of Coempowered as we grow, helping us coordinate our people, programmes and day-to-day work.

Coempowered is a small education charity creating spaces for philosophical inquiry, critical thinking and meaningful dialogue. We work mainly with children, young people and young adults, including Persian-speaking communities from Afghanistan and Iran, with Kurdish-language provision also developing.

As our programmes and volunteer team grow, we need someone who can help connect the different parts of the organisation and make sure plans turn into action. You will work closely with the Executive Lead and gradually take greater ownership of day-to-day coordination.

This role manages the pipeline of finding alignment, making first contact, and getting partners excited about co-creating a fundraising event to make a difference to the lives of animals in need.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnership Mapping & Research: Scour social media, Google, local directories, and fitness networks to identify potential partners (e.g., vegan groups, eco-conscious gyms, walking clubs, outdoor influencers).
• Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized Partnerships Tracker spreadsheet (listing organization names, key contact info, social handles, and alignment reasons).
• Initial Cold Outreach: Send out template-based pitch emails and Social Media/LinkedIn direct messages to explain the dual-branded initiative and gauge their interest.
• Warm Handover: Once a group or influencer expresses concrete interest and wants to discuss details, passing this to the team to finalise the partnership (option to remain involved with this process if the applicant would like to be part of the full life cycle of managing the partnership)

• Collateral Design: Create promotional digital flyers, posters, and PDF booklets for specific initiatives like Walk for Paws
• Document Standardisation: Take raw text from the operations team and turn it into beautiful, professional trip itineraries, kit lists, and pre-departure guides using Canva templates.
• Asset Toolkits: Build and update "Fundraising & Marketing Packs" that our Volunteer Adventure Ambassadors and external partners (like gyms or hiking groups) can use to promote our fundraising adventures
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual assets, fonts, logos, and tones of voice match our guidelines across all media.

Required Experience & Skills

• Mid-level graphic design or marketing coordination experience (exceptional proficiency with Canva is essential; Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus).
• Strong layout skills—able to turn a text document into a highly readable, visually appealing guide.

• Work alongside staff to identify new activity ideas and opportunities.
• Assist with setting up and tidying away activities where required
• Provide occasional one-to-one support, such as accompanying service users to appointments, shopping trips, or community activities.
