Role Summary.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Podcast Producer to support the planning and delivery of local podcasts. You will be responsible for planning and booking studio recording sessions, managing post production editing, and working closely with the host and other team members to make this the no #1 podcast for North American Muslim university students.

Key tasks

• Brainstorming, contacting and liaising with guests to appear on the podcast
• Booking and preparing the recording studio for filming sessions
• Recording the podcast in the studio alongside the guest and host
• Cooperating with the host to plan the structure and topics covered in each episode
• Coordinating research and brainstorming sessions to identify potential guests and topics
• Collaborating with data analyst and design team to test and produce attention-grabbing thumbnails and titles
• Uploading the podcast to our video and audio platforms

What we’re looking for

• Passion for Islamic education and the development of young Muslims.
• Some experience or training in video or podcast production.
• Ability to travel to locations across the GTA

 The Role 

 We are seeking a proactive, confident and relationship-driven Volunteer Partnerships & Growth Manager to identify, approach and onboard potential affiliate partners, collaborators, businesses, agents, talent managers and professional networks that can help expand the reach of Influential Stars. 

 This is a telephone-led outreach and appointment-setting role, supported by email and online communication. You will make initial contact, explain how organisations can get involved, establish whether there is genuine interest and arrange introductory appointments with the appropriate Influential Stars team member. This is a relationship-led role rather than hard selling.

 Key Responsibilities

What we're looking for: A friendly face to welcome visitors and animals to our rescue centre in Whitminster, answering their questions, and directing them to the appropriate member of staff. You will also help make sure the Teckels shop is well stocked, clean and tidy, and looks its best.

This role is ideal for someone with excellent customer service and communication skills, able to deal with a wide range of people visiting in person or over the phone. An eye for detail is helpful for processing admin and making bookings.

Our rescue centre can get very busy, so it is important you are comfortable working in a fast paced environment and have the ability to multi task. You may be the first person someone meets at Teckels, so you will need to be polite, helpful, understanding and discreet, able to handle sensitive situations.

When you can help: We are looking for Welcome Volunteers on a Wednesday and Sunday afternoon, and all day Saturday

As a Videographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content that supports our educational programs, strengthens our online presence, and helps our message resonate deeply with audiences across digital platforms.

• Plan, film, and capture high-quality video content for social media, campaigns, events, interviews, and educational content.
• Work collaboratively with content leads, marketers, and editors to deliver video assets aligned with campaign goals.
• Set up and manage camera, audio, and lighting equipment as needed for shoots.
• Ensure all footage is captured in line with Roots Academy's visual style and brand guidelines.

Read Easy provides free, confidential, one to-one reading coaching for adults who struggle with reading, through a network of volunteer groups. Read Easy groups are changing the lives of individual adults across the country by providing them with the support they need to learn to read, and in turn opening doors for them to all sorts of new opportunities in life. 

Outline of the Publicity Organiser role
You will be helping your local community understand what a Read Easy group does; how local people can get the reading support they need; and how volunteers can help. There are two distinct forms of publicity, one requiring raising awareness by giving talks, putting up posters and talking to people generally about Read Easy. The second is using social media effectively to raise awareness and publicise your group. This roleis commonly supported by other members of 
the team, with specific skills to offer.

How we will support you 
You will be provided with the Management Team Handbook, policies, training/induction and guidance specifically needed for this role, including access to support from a Read Easy UK Regional Adviser, via your Team Leader. You will also be invited to Read Easy UK’s regional and national forums which gives volunteers an opportunity for networking with those from other 
groups. 

What you will be doing 
● Liaising with the Management Team to decide on the group’s publicity needs.
● Creating content for your group’s page on the Read Easy website.
● Being instrumental in raising awareness by giving talks, putting up posters and talking to people generally about Read Easy.
● Setting up and/or maintaining the group’s Facebook page, Twitter and/or other social media platforms to raise your group’s profile.

Zoo or Veterinary Specialist -The Role: Provides high-level governance oversight for Collection, animal welfare, veterinary protocols, and captive breeding standards -Who you are: A registered vet, zoologist, or senior animal care professional who understands BIAZA and Zoo Licensing Act compliance.

• 2. Education Specialist (wildlife focussed) - The Role: Helps shape our educational outreach, school workshop strategies, and curriculum-linked visitor learning programs. - Who you are: A teacher, educational consultant, or learning coordinator with a passion for wildlife.

• 3. Visitor Recreation Specialist - The Role: Guides the strategic development of our public visitor experiences, family attractions, and park play/leisure assets.- Who you are: A professional from the leisure, tourism, or visitor attraction sector who understands how to optimise visitor experience and income.

• 4. Marketing & Communications Specialist - The Role: Advises on strategies to grow ticket sales, boost annual memberships, enhance digital marketing, and protect brand PR. - Who you are: A senior marketing manager, PR director, or commercial growth expert. 

• 5. Legal & Compliance Specialist - The Role: Provides oversight on health and safety, public liability, employment law, and charity governance frameworks.- Who you are: A qualified solicitor, legal counsel, risk compliance manager or H&S qualified professional.
