Do you want to raise some money for Shelter, while having fun along the way?

Information about the role

Netball Aid is a charity celebrity netball match being held in Birmingham, with money raised being donated to Shelter.

It is celebrating 100 years of netball, and in 2025 raised £40,000 for Children in Need, had 6m+ Social Media Views, 5000+ Live Attendees, and National BBC Coverage across iPlayer, News, Sound and Radio.

Your Role

We're looking for volunteers to do the following:

• Hold donation buckets at the entrance to the venue
• Walk around the crowd with donation buckets
• Stand on our stall in the activation area, where we will have flyers about our work and charity Christmas cards for sale

Location: Utilita Arena, King Edwards Road, Birmingham

Date: 15th November 2026

Time: Choose between 10:30-1:30 or 2:00-5:00pm

Volunteer manager: Fiona, Regional Community Fundraiser

This role fights the housing emergency by raising funds that enable Shelter to provide advice and support and campaigning for change.
