Outreach volunteer roles

Description

You'll be raising awareness, & improving understanding of sight loss through delivering RNIB’s Awareness to Action sessions in your local community. Through these engaging sessions, you'll inspire participants to make small changes to their behaviour that make a massive difference in the day-to-day lives of people with sight loss. As a Community Change Champion, this will involve:

• Talking directly with community leaders, businesses, & local groups about ways they can get involved & inviting them to join an Awareness to Action session.
• Delivering RNIB’s Awareness to Action sessions either in person or online, using our resources. You may do this on your own or with a team of other local volunteers, both sighted and with sight loss.
• Sharing RNIB’s information & initiatives so people know we’re here for them.
• If you have a personal link to sight loss, sharing your experience during the session to help give a tangible example of how local people can make a real difference.
• Telling us about any activities you have engaged in via a Microsoft form.

Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is the charitable arm of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Using the power of sport, we work with local communities to improve physical health, mental wellbeing, education, and employment outcomes.

Through our Health & Wellbeing programmes, including Making Sport a Daily Habit (MSADH), we support adults who may be inactive, face health inequalities, or live with long-term health conditions to move more, feel better, and connect with others. Art Explora is a non-profit arts organisation that aims to share arts and culture with everyone - locally, nationally and internationally - and inspire new encounters between arts and audiences.

Arts at Home supports older people to access arts and culture by encouraging conversation and connection through art. We are looking for volunteers to participate in our "Arts at Home" sessions in residential care homes. In these sessions, you will introduce works of art of your choice and facilitate conversations around the artworks with residents. No prior professional experience is needed; we will provide you with the necessary training.

You will need to be able to travel to Birmingham locations independently (pre agreed local travel expenses paid).

Community and Fundraising Volunteers play a vital role in raising funds and awareness to support mums experiencing perinatal mental health challenges. This is a friendly, hands-on role where you’ll help plan, prepare, and deliver fundraising and community engagement activities. From supporting events and running stalls to chatting with supporters and sharing information about MumsAid’s services, you’ll be an important part of a welcoming and supportive team. 

No previous experience is required — just enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine desire to support mums and their families. 

What will you be doing? 

• Supporting the planning and delivery of fundraising and community events, such as charity stalls, coffee mornings, sponsored activities, and awareness days. 

• Helping to create a lively, positive, and welcoming atmosphere at MumsAid events. 

• Engaging with members of the public, supporters, and participants, celebrating their involvement and encouraging donations. 

• Talking to people about MumsAid’s work and signposting to support where appropriate. 

• Assisting with event set-up and pack-down to ensure everything runs smoothly. 

• Handling cash and card donations responsibly, in line with MumsAid procedures. 

• Helping to raise awareness of perinatal mental health and the importance of early support. 

• Being part of a team that helps make MumsAid events inspiring, inclusive, and memorable. 

• Following MumsAid’s policies and procedures, including health and safety and safeguarding, to ensure events run smoothly.

The Volunteer SEO Strategy Manager will play a critical role in increasing the visibility, reach, and digital impact of our platform across search engines and online platforms.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies that help our podcast episodes, YouTube content, articles, campaigns, and educational resources reach wider audiences globally.

About the Role

The Volunteer SEO Strategy Manager will:

About Us

We're a UK-based non-profit, pre-startup, with over 20 years of community participation and engagement — working alongside some of society's most vulnerable people.

We're looking for a video editor who wants to be part of this journey — someone who can tell a story with heart and is interested in creating real social impact.

Project Overview

Video is central to how we tell our story. We've got existing footage, screen recordings and a working product demo — the raw material is there, but it needs shaping into a set of short, polished, persuasive videos that can sit alongside our pitch deck and outreach.

This is an editing job — turning existing material into clear, emotive short films for funders, investors and a wider non-expert audience. We'd start with a small first batch to check fit, with ongoing work as we build out a library of short videos.

• Edit field/interview footage into a short promo showing how hard it currently is for vulnerable people to find help

• Produce short (2–3 minute) comparison videos 

• Add captions/subtitles and light graphics, with versions suitable for both presentations and social media

What We're Looking For

• Strong short-form video editing (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut)
• Comfortable editing both talking-head/interview footage and screen recordings
• Captions/subtitles, lower-thirds and light motion graphics
• Able to cut for social/short-form (vertical) as well as for presentations
• A strong story sense — making a clear, emotive narrative that lands with non-expert audiences
• Based in a European time zone (UK hours overlap is important)
• Proactive communicator — regular updates, no radio silence
• Experience with charity or mission-driven content is a plus

About Lambeth Links: Lambeth Links is the LGBTQIA+ community forum for Lambeth. We bring together people who live, work and socialise in the borough to share information, support each other and speak with a stronger voice.

We are seeking to appoint Trustees with expertise in one of the following areas:

• Governance
• Digital, Data and Website
• Marketing and Communications
• Fundraising and Income Generation
• People and Volunteering

About the Trustee for Governance and Board Secretary role:

• Experience in charity governance, company governance or a related field such as legal, company secretarial or compliance.
• Understanding of the duties of charity trustees in England and of the role of the Charity Commission.
• Experience of Board or committee work, paid or voluntary.

About the Trustee for Digital, Data and Website role:

• Experience in digital, IT, data or web development in a paid or voluntary role.
• Understanding of basic data protection and GDPR principles and how they apply in small organisations.
• Experience of using or overseeing websites, digital platforms or online tools.

About the Trustee for Marketing and Communications role:

• Experience in marketing, communications, PR or a related field in a paid or voluntary role.
• Experience of planning or delivering campaigns, content or community outreach.
• Understanding of how to use different channels to reach different audiences.

About the Fundraising and Income Generation Trustee role:

• Experience in fundraising, business development, partnerships or income generation.
• Understanding of at least one area of fundraising such as grants, corporate partnerships, events or individual giving.
• Experience of developing or reviewing funding proposals or business cases.

About the People and Volunteering Trustee role:

• Experience in HR, people management, organisational development or volunteer management.
• Understanding of fair and inclusive people practices in small or medium organisations.
• Experience of supporting managers or volunteers through change, growth or challenge.
