About the role
As a Trustee, you will play a crucial role in the governance and strategic oversight of the charity, ensuring that we operate effectively, achieve our mission, and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements. Trustees are collectively responsible for safeguarding the charity’s assets, ensuring they are used exclusively to further our objectives, and overseeing the charity’s financial health, including budgets, financial controls, and reporting. Acting with integrity and in the charity’s best interests is at the heart of the role.
The Treasurer oversees the financial affairs of the charity and ensures that they are conducted legally, transparently, and in line with the charity’s governing document. Working closely with the Chair, CEO, Trustees, and any staff or volunteers, the Treasurer helps safeguard the charity’s financial sustainability. This role is vital in supporting the delivery of our new Strategy and ensuring our positive impact on the lives of people with CF

This is an exciting time to join the Endometriosis UK trustee board, as the organisation expands and develops to achieve the changes that are needed to support those affected by the disease and to drive down diagnosis time. We are looking for a new Treasurer to build on this momentum to strengthen our organisation and bring about change for those with endometriosis. We have a skills-based board, with Trustees having one or more identified skills, with the overall membership of the Board providing the complete set of skills.
Endometriosis UK is the largest UK charity for those with endometriosis. Endometriosis UK works to:
• Provide support to those with endometriosis and their families and friends
• Provide clear, objective information about the condition and its treatments
• Raise awareness amongst health professionals and the general public about the condition
• Support research into endometriosis.
This is an unpaid role. Reasonable pre-agreed travel expenses will be paid.
Time commitment:
• Five meetings a year, including preparation for meetings, reading papers etc; and attendance at an annual strategy day and AGM (held on the same days as Board meetings).
• Trustees have the opportunity to take part in Board sub-groups and project groups to develop aspects of the organisations’ work. Current sub-groups include the Finance Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Sub-Group. Trustees are also invited to attend Endometriosis UK events.
We are recruiting for one new treasurer to join the board. We are particularly looking for:
• Personal or professional experience of diversity and inclusion issues
• Marketing and digital marketing
• Communications and social media
• Campaigning and achieving change
• Experience of working in Primary Care
• Charity finance experience
• Currently living in Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales
Personal experience of living with, or having a close family member with, endometriosis, is vital on our Board. Whilst we look favourably on applications from those in the endometriosis community, we already have Trustees with first hand lived experience and new trustees do not need to have endometriosis.
We also particularly welcome applications from trustees from a range of backgrounds and experiences as part of our commitment to diversity.
The role will start at a Board meeting on 28th November 2026, when our current Treasurer reaches the end of their 6-year term of office. Prior to the roles starting, the incoming Treasurer will have the opportunity to observe a Board meeting in September, and induction will be planned in October.

Role Purpose
The TRATSEDI Webinar Archivist is responsible for capturing, curating, and preserving the intellectual and practical outputs of TRATSEDI webinars.
Rather than simply storing recordings, this role focuses on transforming webinars into accessible knowledge assets—including summaries, reports, and curated web content—that reflect TRATSEDI’s mission and can be shared with prospective speakers, collaborators, funders, and the wider public.
Key Responsibilities
1. Webinar Knowledge Capture
- Collect all post-webinar materials, including:
- Final webinar poster
- Speaker biography and photo
- Microsoft Teams recording
- YouTube video link
- Ensure materials are complete and correctly labelled.
2. Knowledge Curation & Archiving
- Maintain the TRATSEDI Webinar Archive using agreed folder structures and naming conventions.
- Organise webinars by year, theme, and speaker.
- Maintain an archive log tracking completed and pending webinar outputs.
- Ensure long-term accessibility and consistency of materials.
3. Webinar Insights & Reporting
- Write concise webinar insight reports, including:
- Event overview
- Key ideas and discussions
- Implications for research, policy, and practice
- Ensure reports align with TRATSEDI’s scholarly yet accessible tone.
- Prepare web-ready or PDF versions of reports.
4. Website & Digital Publishing Support
- Upload completed webinar content to the TRATSEDI website, including:
- Poster
- Speaker bio

- Insight report
- Update webinar pages from “upcoming” to “completed.”
- Check links, formatting, and accessibility.
5. Knowledge Dissemination Support
- Support post-webinar dissemination by:
- Preparing short LinkedIn summaries (in coordination with the Communications Lead).

- Ensuring YouTube titles and descriptions are accurate and consistent.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.

Role Description
Are you passionate about changing the way we treat animals? Do you want to help reduce environmental damage? Do you want to inspire people to enjoy healthy vegan food that both looks good and tastes great?
The Vegan Society aims to make veganism more accessible. We help people to adopt a vegan lifestyle by supporting individuals, policy- and decision-makers, caterers, manufacturers, healthcare professionals and the media.
Why do we need you?
Our nutrition team consists of two registered dietitians (we are currently recruiting for the second role). Our small team provides up-to-date nutrition and health resources on our website and evidence-based nutrition and health information for the charity’s campaigns. We also answer questions relating to vegan health and nutrition from the general public, the vegan community, caterers, and health and nutrition professionals via phone calls, email and post.
Other areas of responsibility include attending events and giving talks on the latest vegan health and nutrition topics, writing articles, and speaking to the media about vegan health and nutrition. We are also responsible for developing recipes and blogs for various projects.
We are a busy team and the support of a pharmacy volunteer would be invaluable.
What does the role involve?
We are looking for a volunteer who is a pharmacist or has a pharmaceutical background to support our nutrition team to handle medicine queries on an ad hoc basis.
The specific tasks we would like the volunteer to take on are:
- Collating and responding to medicine-related queries for a number of health conditions, including, but not limited to, osteoporosis, iron-deficiency anaemia, the menopause and thyroid disorders.
- Researching ingredients and contacting manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies to find products suitable for vegans or without animal ingredients.
- Comparing medicines suitable for vegans versus those containing animal-derived ingredients (e.g. side-effects, ingredients, costs).
What training and support are available?
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with competency in pharmacy and responding to enquiries, so training in these areas would not be required. However, we are always willing to invite volunteers along to staff training when possible and to deliver training on specific skills inhouse, as identified throughout volunteering. This role is remote and therefore support from the Dietitian will be available through email and phone calls as required. Monthly or quarterly reviews with the Volunteering and Engagement Officer will also be conducted to ensure the volunteer is happy in their role.
What skills would be useful in doing this role?
- Trained pharmacist or pharmaceutical background
- Competency in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An awareness and knowledge of vegan current affairs
- Confidence to communicate any training or support needs
- Ability to work independently
What does my availability need to be?
We are looking for someone who is available for one to two hours a week on a regular basis. These hours are flexible, but we would expect you to respond to public enquiries within three to five working days to meet the expectations of our supporters.
