About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate, reliable and organised Volunteer Accountant to join our growing foundation.

As we expand our charitable activities, we are looking for someone who can help us strengthen our financial processes, maintain accurate records and ensure that our finances are managed responsibly and transparently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including donations, income and expenditure.
• Support bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Assist with preparing annual accounts and financial statements.
• Help monitor budgets and track charitable spending.
• Provide guidance on financial procedures and charity accounting requirements.
• Support financial documentation for grant and funding applications.

Who We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping or financial management.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of UK charity accounting or a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• A genuine interest in supporting charitable causes and making a difference.

Accounting students, graduates and experienced professionals are welcome to express their interest.
