CONTEXT

The Women & Families Resource Centre (WFRC) is a registered charity based in Wolverhampton which supports, empowers and advocates for women and children.

We aim to actively encourage women to be self-reliant, through empowering them to identify their own needs, make their own choices and create their own solutions. We offer a baby bank, a charity shop & various community support services to help women facing crises or challenging situations.

Wolverhampton Baby Bank is a flagship project run by The Women & Families Resource Centre, a registered charity supporting families with children aged 0-3.

Through donated essentials and community engagement, we provide much-needed items such as:

• Essential supplies for babies and toddlers, including nappies, wipes, clothing, toys and bedding.

• Support services for new parents, including drop-in groups and befriending for pregnant women and new mothers.

• Referrals and resources to connect families with additional community services.

Scope and Span

The E-Commerce Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the online sales function of the Baby Bank, ensuring that high-quality donated items are identified, prepared, listed, and sold effectively to generate fundraising income.

This role manages E-Commerce Volunteers and ensures that listings are accurate, professional, and aligned with brand standards. The Team Lead also monitors performance, pricing strategy, and workflow efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise E-Commerce Volunteers

• Oversee the identification of sellable donated items

• Ensure all items listed online meet quality standards

• Approve product descriptions, pricing, and final listings

• Monitor online sales performance and recommend improvements

• Maintain consistency in photography, editing, and branding

• Track inventory allocated for online sale

• Ensure timely uploading and removal of sold items

• Provide regular sales and performance updates to the Baby Bank Manager

• Work with the Operations Manager on process improvements and automation

The Branch Chair role is vital to the running of the branch as they act as a leader and a coordinator for the branch. Without these roles, we would not have as many branches as we do.

What you will be doing

• Planning, arranging, and chairing committee meetings and public meetings.
• Along with other committee members, representing the branch at external meetings e.g. with local services for autistic people.
• Delegating tasks to other committee members or volunteers
• Raising the profile of the NAS within your branch and local community.
• Ensuring your branch complies with NAS policies including risk assessment, data protection and safeguarding
• Monitoring branch income and expenditure in partnership with the treasurer and authorising branch payments
• Supporting fundraising in your branch
• Co-ordinating and promoting local campaigns and bringing others on board to help you
• Keeping your Senior Branch Engagement Officer informed about branch activities and events
• Overseeing the moderation of the branch online support group / forum
• Liaising with newsletter editor on contents and production of bi-monthly newsletter
• Motivating the team involved in running your branch
• Trying to resolve any difficulties experienced by your branch

Role Purpose

The ICT Project Manager is responsible for managing key ICT projects to support the college’s organisational objectives. The role will project manage external ICT suppliers and partners, and all stakeholders, whilst delivering key ICT projects during a period of significant change.

Key Responsibilities

 ICT Project Management

• Develop and maintain individual project plans, whilst managing and monitoring progress of all ICT projects via the master ICT Project Schedule.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, quality, security and budget constraints.
• Provide regular progress reporting to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with project teams, ensuring representation from all relevant departments from project initiation, through testing, to the acceptance of change and operational handover.

Supplier Management

• Manage relationships with external ICT suppliers and service providers, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Oversee supplier performance against contracts, addressing issues and evaluating  service provision.
• Ensure suppliers comply with organisational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure projects and services comply with information security, data protection, and organisational governance standards.
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues appropriately.
• Maintain accurate project and service documentation.

• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent ICT projects in a changing organisational environment.
