Travel Team Volunteers
Are you unequivocally pro-abortion? Are you passionate about supporting women and pregnant people to access safe and legal abortion services? Are you able to give 7 hours over a week-long shift, once every six weeks? If so, we are looking for abortion heroes like you!
Come and join our Travel team, which provides invaluable practical support to those forced to travel for an abortion. In this role you will research and book the most cost effective and efficient means of travel and accommodation for people from all over Europe needing to access safe abortion care. You will have a crucial role in responding to requests from the phoner team to research and book the cheapest method of travel and accommodation. You will be responsible for managing your own hours but you will be working closely with the other volunteers on shift, as well as an on-call manager.
Supporting someone to arrange an abortion is an act of radical solidarity, and we’re looking for people who can work collaboratively and empathically with clients all over Europe.
