Event Volunteers (Worcester City Runs, Worcester Racecourse)

Worcester City Run, Worcester Racecourse - 14th September 2025

We are looking for event village and cheer volunteers to support at Worcester City Runs at Worcester Racecourse on Sunday 14th September.  

At Acorns we provide care and support for life limited or life threatened children and their families. We are a charity, and our fundraising is vital to enable us to continue providing care and support to the children: it costs around £10 million a year to run our care services.

What's involved?

• You as volunteers will be supporting at the Acorns stand and engaging with our runners and members of the public
• As a Cheer Squad you will be cheering our runners on as they fly round the course
• Mascot – Alex the Acorn

How much time will it take? 

Any time that you can support between 8am to 2pm

• Approachable and happy to raise awareness about Acorns
• Versatile and willing to adapt and help out
• Support and cheer runners along
