Job Summary
Chair of Trustees (Volunteer) | Age UK York
Age UK York is seeking an experienced and inspiring Chair of Trustees to lead our Board and help guide the charity through its next chapter. Supporting older people across York for over 50 years, we are looking for a collaborative leader with strong governance, strategic, and leadership experience to ensure the charity remains impactful, resilient, and responsive to local needs.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will provide board leadership, oversee governance and strategy, support organisational performance, and act as an ambassador for the charity. This is a unique opportunity to use your skills and experience to improve the lives of older people and strengthen a trusted local charity at the heart of the community.
