About us
Animal Action Greece is a charity dedicated to improving the welfare of animals across Greece. We work to protect and care for stray cats and dogs, working equines, through veterinary treatment, neutering programs, education, and advocacy. We collaborate with local partners and communities to create long-term, sustainable change.
Role overview
We are looking for a volunteer to support our social media marketing efforts. This role will involve helping to create and schedule content, engage with our online community, and assist in growing our audience to raise awareness of our work.
Key responsibilities

Assist in creating and scheduling posts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Edit short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook.

Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.

Research and share relevant content related to Greek animal welfare.

Monitor engagement and suggest improvements to increase reach.
Who we’re looking for

Experience or interest in social media marketing, particularly for charities or non-profits.

Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

Passion for animal welfare and an understanding of our mission.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Familiarity with social media scheduling tools. (desirable but not essential)

Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere Pro (desirable but not essential)

Able to speak both Greek and English (desirable but not essential)
This role is flexible, requiring just a few hours per week. It can be carried out remotely or from our London office (Monday–Friday only). It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in digital marketing while contributing to meaningful animal welfare work. Applicants must be over 18 and able to commit to a minimum of six months. This is an unpaid volunteer role.
