What you’ll do:
- Support in completing the development of our WordPress site (currently in progress).
- Ensure the website is functional, user-friendly, and visually engaging.
- Assist with setting up pages for artist spotlights, resources, and events.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and occasional updates as the organisation grows.
Key deliverable:
A fully working, polished website that clearly represents ArtClusiv’s mission and provides an accessible hub for creatives and collaborators.
Who you’ll work with:
You’ll work directly with the Founder and collaborate with the Marketing & Social Media team to align the website with campaigns and content.
Flexibility:
This role is not set in stone — we’re open to your input and ideas on how the site can best serve our community. If you have experience in design, UX, or accessibility, you’re welcome to bring those skills into the role as well.
What are we looking for?
Skills & Experience
- Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins (BuddyBoss or similar is a plus, but not essential).
- Ability to set up and maintain core site functions (registration, profiles, content pages, menus).
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS (and ideally some PHP or JavaScript if more customisation is needed).
- Understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices.
- Experience with integrating forms and email tools (e.g. Mailchimp, Zoho, or similar).
- Comfortable using version control (Git) or staging sites (nice-to-have, not required).
Qualities
- Collaborative — able to work with the Founder, Marketing, and Content teams to align the site with ArtClusiv’s mission.
- Creative problem-solver — willing to find practical solutions when things don’t work “out of the box.”
- Communicator — can explain technical issues in plain language for non-tech team members.
- Reliable & organised — able to manage tasks independently and provide updates on progress.
- Passionate about inclusivity and the arts — shares our belief in supporting marginalised creatives.
