Barod is a pioneering substance misuse treatment provider in Wales, offering evidence based treatment and holistic support to individuals who access its services. Following a period of growth, we currently have some vacancies on our Board of Trustees. We are looking for people who can contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation.
We are looking to welcome new individuals, with a range of backgrounds and experiences, to our Board of Trustees. We are interested in meeting individuals with knowledge/experience of any of the following areas:
- Business/Commercial
- Criminal Justice
- Accountancy
- Medical
- Mental Health
- Social Services/Social Care
- Legal
- Housing
- Communications/Public Relations
- Lived Experience (Substance Use)
If you have the passion and the skills which can help us make a difference to people’s lives, then we would love to hear from you. These voluntary roles are unpaid, but travel expenses can be reimbursed.
