Brathay is a special charity. Our vision is to inspire young people from across the UK to build their brighter futures through transformative residential experiences, learning opportunities and community support.

Between 2024 to 2029 we aim to inspire over 40,000 young people to do just that!

Our beautiful and inspiring residential centre and estate is situated at the head of Windermere, near Ambleside in the Lake District National Park - and we also have 3 important community bases in Bradford, Barrow and Kendal.
We have been delivering our residential programmes here for 79 years, delivering positive change for thousands and thousands of young people in the process.

We are seeking two new Trustees to strengthen the Board around the following skills and experience, and particularly welcome applications from people with a diverse background.
• Non-Executive Experience
• Outdoor Learning
• Fundraising/Philanthropy
