Job title: Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator (Probono) - London
Reporting to: Head of Programmes
Remuneration: £0 (Pro-Bono, Volunteering role)
Duration: 6 Months commitment, with a potential further extension.
Location: London, several central areas and expanding reach. Coworking Office Space in Brixton.
Work Style: Approx 2-5 hrs per week (depending on the time of year), Both F2F and online meetings, preferably on Wednesdays.

Volunteer Coordinator
Are you an organized and enthusiastic communicator with a passion for supporting young refugees and asylum seekers? Breadwinners is looking for a pro bono Volunteer Coordinator to help us find and support the amazing people who power our work. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of our operations, building relationships and ensuring our volunteer mentors have a positive and impactful experience.
What you'll do:

Be the first point of contact: Regularly monitor our volunteer email inbox and respond to enquiries from potential volunteers promptly and professionally.

Build connections: Communicate warmly and effectively with prospective mentors, answering their questions and guiding them through their initial interest.

Strengthen partnerships: Liaise with our recruitment partners to ensure a steady stream of enthusiastic individuals.

Spread the word: Proactively recruit new volunteers through engaging email campaigns and social media outreach.

Guide the journey: Usher potential volunteers through our recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from start to finish.
Who you are:

An excellent communicator, both written and verbal

Highly organised with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in using email and social media for outreach

Empathetic and patient, with a genuine desire to help others

Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

Able to use Google Platform, EventBrite, and Salesforce
