Role: We are urgently seeking warm, energetic volunteers to join us as Befrienders and Tutors. Your role will be to provide social support and educational assistance to young people dealing with long-term physical or mental health issues. You'll help them regain confidence and a sense of normalcy by engaging in activities tailored to their interests, such as crafting, gaming, music, book clubs, or general chatting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a positive, friendly presence for young people
- Engage in tailored activities to boost confidence and provide respite from illness
- Offer 1:1 educational support to help them catch up on missed schooling
- Create a safe, fun space for learning and social interaction

Requirements:
- Must be 18 or over
- Kind, friendly, and understanding personality
- Ability to engage positively with young people
- Interest in working with vulnerable youth or in teaching
Practical Considerations:
- Commitment of at least 1 hour per week
- Safeguarding training certificate provided
- MUST BE BASED IN THE UK
