Volunteer Recovery Support (Duty)
Join our Tower Hamlets Reset Team as a Volunteer!
Are you passionate about helping others create lasting change? As a Recovery Support Volunteer, you'll work alongside Recovery Coordinators to support individuals throughout their treatment and recovery journey. From one-to-one support to recovery planning, you'll help people build confidence, overcome challenges, and move towards a healthier future.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Support assessments, recovery plans, and risk management activities.
- Provide one-to-one support and recovery-focused interventions.
- Help service users achieve their personal recovery goals.
- Encourage engagement with recovery activities and community support.
- Work towards managing a small caseload of low-risk clients.
- Record and maintain accurate case notes and service records.
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and non-judgemental approach.
- Good organisational and IT skills.
- Ability to work well with a range of professionals and services.
- Respect for confidentiality and professional boundaries.
This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of volunteering within the substance misuse field. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role.
