Campaign Data Administrator
Join dED for two hours a week to keep a record of campaign initiatives to break the ties between universities and the arms trade!
What You’ll Do:
- Map university governance systems to understand decision-making structures.
- Track past & present campaigns, including SU motions, petitions, direct actions, and open letters.
- Collate digital archives (e.g., Instagram posts) that document demilitarisation efforts.
- Monitor policy renewal dates to identify strategic intervention points.
- Update our campus trackers to build a national index, ensuring initiatives are correctly recorded.
Why This Matters:
This tracker is a crucial tool for student campaigners, providing a live record of key people, actions, and policies shaping demilitarisation efforts. By helping build this national resource, you’ll empower campaigns across the UK. From the data campaigns will be able to build more consistent and strategic approaches to seeing universities adopt policies that ensure universities are no longer partnered with the global arms trade.
