We need volunteer drivers to collect harvest donations and deliver to our office that will be used at our night shelters

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a dependable and friendly volunteer to help us collect donated items from businesses, and community drop-off points. As a minivan driver, you’ll play a key role in supporting our mission—through collecting essentials for those in need. These donations are essential to our outreach efforts, shelters, and support services. If you’re reliable, compassionate, and enjoy being out in the community, this role is a wonderful way to give back.

Key Responsibilities

•                  Drive a minivan to collect donations from designated locations

•                  Load and unload items safely.

•                  Maintain records of pickups and drop-off

•                  Coordinate with staff to ensure timely and efficient collection

•                  Follow all safety and traffic regulation

•                  Perform basic vehicle checks and keep the van clean and tidy

Requirements

•                  A clean and valid UK driving licence

•                  Good physical fitness for lifting and loading item

•                  Friendly, reliable, and respectful attitude

•                  Ability to work independently and manage a route
