Job description

The Bath Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday 15th March 2020 and Prostate Cancer UK would really love your support.

We’d like you at either a cheer point, motivating our runners to get to the finish line, or at a charity village and this year we have something different we will have our very own cheer bus  with our branding which is super exciting.

This year we have 400 amazing runners taking part ensuring a future where lives are not limited by prostate cancer.

What will I do : 

  • Spot our runners at the cheer point as they run past us
  • Cheer on and encourage our runners
  • Use your energy and enthusiasm to motivate our runners to get to the finish line
  • Join our cheering bus
  • Meet and greet our runners, their friends and family as they come to the event village
  • Thank all of our supporters for their contribution on the day
  • Help out in the race village marquee with refreshments etc.
  • Chat to our runners and supporters after the race – a chance to hear their story and they yours.


Sunday 15 March 2020

Cheer Point/ Cheer Bus -  9am to 1pm. The race will start at 11am. 

Event Village Volunteer -  9am to 2pm


Our cheer point and cheer bus will be most located at a prominent position around the course and we’ll get to see our runners twice during the run.

Our charity marquee will be in the events village, next the start/finish area. 

We would be delighted to send you a t-shirt to wear on the day.
