We are looking to recruit an Administration Volunteer for the Skegness and District Group. Our Administration Volunteers are the linchpin for our local groups’ activities. They act as the first point of contact and they make sure all relevant information is circulated to other volunteers and members. And they play an important role in keeping our data and details up to date to comply with data protection legislation.

In this role you’ll develop your administration and organisation skills. Most importantly you’ll be help your local group run efficiently, so they can keep providing valuable services to our MS community. Time Commitment

We estimate this role will need around 2 hours a week. Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary depending on your activities. This is an ongoing role.

We are looking to recruit a Group Coordinator for our Rochdale and District group. As our local Group Coordinator you’ll take the lead in making sure your local group works as effectively as possible. In this role you’ll be able to develop your leadership, management, communication, organisation and motivation skills.

Join us as a Patient Transport Volunteer Driver and become a vital part of our Patient Transport Service in your local area. Your commitment will ensure that vulnerable patients can access essential medical appointments on time with ease and comfort.

As a volunteer, you'll be the friendly face that patients rely on during their journey to appointments. Your role is simple yet profoundly impactful: providing safe and reliable transportation, while offering reassurance and support during a challenging time in their lives.

There are no set shifts or required hours, however we do have a preference for weekend availability, although not set in stone.

You simply let us know your availability, and we’ll schedule pick-ups accordingly. It’s fully flexible and based on when you're free.

You will need to have:

• A valid driving licence with (no more than 6 penalty points)

We are seeking Event Paramedics to respond to and manage emergency calls/incidents whilst attending events. At all times provide specialist, clinical, social and holistic care to undertake clinical assessment and interventions those individuals in the pre-hospital environment, which may include stadia, concerts, motorsports, road races etc. This may encompass working on both ambulances / FRV’s and within treatment units as required.

Successful candidates will be registered Paramedics with the HCPC and be able to provide evidence of CPD activity within the previous 12 months.

In this role you’ll be able to develop your writing skills, and gain an experience of communicating across a range of digital channels.

At St John Ambulance, we are looking to develop our volunteering offer and become an even more integral part of our communities through delivering community first aid and education.

As a Community First Aider, you’ll deliver first aid to those in need through local events, as well as provide education to the public so that the ripple effect of First Aid grows.

We will make sure you will have access to a proper induction to volunteering with SJA and the training you need for the role you take on. Network covers East Kent area -Dover, Canterbury & Thanet, working in predominantly in local area.

Expected to undergo a DBS check & e-learning modules. To progress to a community first aider, a candidate would be expected to undergo a 2 days of face to face training in addition to regular training opportunities to maintain and develop skills, delivering 80hrs of volunteering annually across the Network area.

We are looking to run a volunteering selection session between 01/08/2025 - 18/08/2025 Candidates will be interviewed at the Canterbury Venue. 
If you are successful a Welcome Event (Induction) is due to take place between 06/10/2025 - 20/10/2025 this will also take place at the Canterbury Venue with more information confirmed with successful applicants.

We are looking for people to join our youth team to help us expand the delivery of SJA's youth programme, particularly our Cadet (10-17 years) members. We currenly have a Unit which meets on Tuesday evenings but we are hoping to be able to open a new Unit on Monday evenings.

Need to be able to attend the majority of our youth unit meetings which take place on Monday and/or Tuesday evenings. The wider Network also has a monthly update meeting on Monday evenings which all members need to attend.
