Are you passionate about working with children and looking for an opportunity to make a difference? We are recruiting for a volunteer to support with engaging and keeping children entertained while mums participate in our workshops and events. By providing this support, you will be allowing women to participate in events to develop their skills, confidence and build on their aspirations.
This role will be on an ad hoc basis and will require travelling to different places in London.
What you will be doing
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Entertaining children with provided toys and small activities such as colouring or puzzles etc..
- Ensuring the children are kept safe and accompanied at all times
The skills you need
- Calm and patient approach
- Experience in childcare preferred
- Working knowledge of child safeguarding preferred
- Ability to provide a supportive, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages learning and participation
- Good communication skills
- Paediatric First Aider - Desired
