Job description
Are you an experienced and qualified nutritionist and would like to inspire others by sharing your knowledge? We are looking for a Nutrition Volunteer to share with others their knowledge of how to make healthy meals on a budget. Having a healthy diet has shown to have positive effects on mental health and can reduce inflammation as well as alter neurotransmitters to reduce symptoms of depression.
What you will be doing
- Providing regular sessions on nutritional advise and how to prepare quick and healthy meals on a budget
- Promoting the benefits of eating healthily
- Promoting discussion and answering any questions that come up
The skills you need
- Qualified nutritionist
- Good communication skills
- Calm and patient approach
- Ability to provide a supportive, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages learning and participation
