Trustee
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity MAAC) is recruiting a new Trustee/Non-Executive Director to join our Board — an opportunity arising through natural succession (the end of a Trustee's term) and as part of the Charity's ongoing commitment to a skilled and diverse Board. Becoming a Trustee for MAAC will give you the opportunity to use your professional skills and life experience to make a demonstrable impact, helping us to provide outstanding helicopter-led medical services now and in the future.
We are looking for an accomplished, values-led individual with a strong record of senior leadership, gained in the public, private or third sector, and either proven board-level experience or the clear potential to contribute effectively in a board environment. You will bring sound judgement, strategic thinking and the confidence to provide constructive challenge, alongside a genuine commitment to MAAC's lifesaving mission.
First-time Trustees are warmly encouraged to apply — a structured induction, including a two-day governance programme, is provided. A close connection to Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, the West Midlands or Worcestershire is desirable but not essential.
This is a voluntary role requiring approximately 10–12 days a year, including four Board meetings, four Committee meetings and an annual Away Day.
MAAC is partnering with Nurole, the leading board-level search specialist, to recruit a new Trustee.
To provide patients with outstanding pre-hospital care and lifesaving intervention through the operation of helicopter-led emergency medical services.
