EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT AND OFFICE MANAGER - VOLUNTEER ROLE
Volunteer Executive Assistant & Office Manager
MINDSET Charity
Who We Are
MINDSET Charity is a brand new, volunteer‑run organisation dedicated to transforming men’s lives across England. We will support men on their journeys of mental wellbeing and self‑improvement through workshops, creative programmes, community‑based activities, and online groups.
We are building a movement rooted in resilience, dignity, and brotherhood. As we grow, we are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and solution‑focused Executive Assistant & Office Manager to keep our administrative and operational functions running smoothly.
This is a remote role — perfect for someone who thrives on structure, efficiency, and supporting a mission‑driven team.
The Role of Executive Assistant & Office Manager
As our Volunteer Executive Assistant & Office Manager, you will be the organisational engine behind the charity. You will:
-
Provide direct administrative support to the Founder/Executive Director.
-
Manage calendars, emails, scheduling, and day‑to‑day coordination.
-
Keep our digital office organised — documents, folders, systems, and processes.
-
Ensure meetings are well‑prepared, with agendas, papers, and follow‑up actions clearly managed.
-
Support volunteer onboarding and internal communications.
-
Troubleshoot operational challenges with a calm, solution‑focused mindset.
-
Maintain smooth internal workflows so the wider team can focus on impact.
-
Help build the administrative foundations of a start‑up charity from the ground up.
This is a volunteer role — but your organisation, clarity, and reliability will be essential to our success.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from people who share our passion for men’s mental wellbeing and want to support a growing charity.
You may have experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Administrator, or Coordinator — but what matters most is your ability to:
-
Stay organised and keep others organised
-
Work efficiently and independently in a remote environment
-
Communicate clearly and professionally
-
Solve problems with initiative and calm
-
Bring structure to a fast‑moving start‑up charity
-
Support leadership with reliability, discretion, and positivity
If you love order, systems, and helping a mission‑driven team thrive, this role will suit you perfectly.
