Who We Are

MINDSET Charity is a brand new start-up, volunteer‑run organisation dedicated to transforming men’s lives across England. We will support men on their journeys of mental wellbeing and self‑improvement through workshops, creative programmes, community‑based activities, and online groups.

We are building a movement rooted in resilience, dignity, and brotherhood. As we grow from start‑up to national force, we are seeking a dynamic, committed Managing Director to work closely with our Founder/Executive Director and help drive the charity forward.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the systems, culture, and momentum of a charity at the very beginning of its journey.

The Role of Managing Director

As our Volunteer Managing Director, you will play a central role in turning vision into action. You will:

• Work side‑by‑side with the Founder/Executive Director to lead, shape, and grow the charity.

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring programmes, volunteers, and systems run smoothly and effectively.

• Drive forward key strategic priorities, helping transform ideas into sustainable, impactful initiatives.

• Build and support a positive, motivated volunteer team culture rooted in trust, clarity, and shared purpose.

• Strengthen internal processes, governance, and organisational structure as we scale.

• Support fundraising, partnerships, and external relationships that amplify our mission.

• Troubleshoot challenges with calm, creativity, and a solutions‑focused mindset.

• Represent the charity when needed, championing our values and strengthening our credibility.

This is a volunteer role — but your leadership will directly shape the growth, stability, and long‑term success of a national movement.

You may have experience in charity leadership, operations, management, or start‑up environments — but what matters most is your ability to:
