Quarterly Board meetings 3.5 to 4 hours, in-person preferred (held in Taunton, Somerset)
& Quarterly committee meetings 2 hours, online or onsite
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people facing life-limiting illnesses? Our client, St Margaret’s Hospice Care, a community-funded charity in Somerset, is seeking a Voluntary Trustee (Clinical) to join our Board and help shape the future of hospice care.
The ideal candidate will have senior-level expertise in community health care, health, social care, or public health. This could stem from direct clinical practice, governance, commissioning, or system-level transformation.
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to challenge constructively while maintaining positive relationships. A thorough understanding of the legal duties and responsibilities of trusteeship is essential, underpinned by a passion for supporting adults with life-limiting illnesses.
