Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and motivated Volunteer Social Media Manager to help grow our online presence, engage our community, and promote our mission. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, digital content creation, and making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Develop engaging posts including graphics, captions, and short-form videos
- Monitor comments and messages, responding in a timely and professional manner
- Support the development of a social media strategy aligned with our goals
- Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth) and suggest improvements
- Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices
- Collaborate with the team to promote events, campaigns, and initiatives
Skills & Experience (Preferred but Not Required)
- Interest in social media, marketing, or communications
- Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Basic design skills (e.g., Canva or similar tools)
- Strong written communication skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
